Great! But Update?
Enjoyed for past several years to embrace and honor my maternal Jewish heritage. But noticed it’s not updated for 2022. Not big deal since the tradition is the same. Jus be sure to mark your calendar for Sunday night, 12/18/22!

Ok at first I loved this app but when I downloaded it, I wanted to light it by tapping!1!1!!1!!1 Why!?!?!? I just wanted to see for using it till Hanukkah starts. Plz change it then I will change the rating and the review!

I love this app so much ‘ I got to learn the blessings and when you stare at the candles on the menorah I don’t have to ask I can just set the timer to stare the the menorah on the table next to me

I downloaded this app in 2014, and I have not been let down yet. It was a great backup, from the beginning, when I needed the blessings for my kids to follow along and learn. Now they remind me to open the app, so they can recite with me.

Not updated, almost pointless download
I’m giving 2 stars because the blessings are helpful, however the app appears to have been not updated in two years, proving to be somewhat pointless

The coolest app in the world!!!
Good but not resetting
I really liked this app last year but, this year, the candles didn't reset so I had to keep track of the day myself. May not sound like a big deal but, since I travel for a living and have no choice but to miss some nights, it was very helpful to have that prompt so disappointing to have them all lit.
**2017 update**
Same thing for this year. The candles didn't reset and the date that Chanukah starts is still shown as 2016. You'd think they'd either put out an update every year or write the code to check a perpetual calendar for the current year's dates.

This is amazing!!!! So handy and practical. I especially love the timer feature. No more looking at the clock to see if half an hour's past. all the saber team apps. Another hit from saber apps!!!!!
Useful
This is useful. It includes the blessings which I end up looking up every year. All the information which is easy and embarrassing to forget is there. It also explains everything really well for a non-Jew. There are only three things that need improving the most important is in the description of the app, where it has the starting date for Chanukah wrong. Not reassuring in an app that gives Chanukah information. The other improvements are adding the tunes to the blessings and perhaps some gelt to the dreidel? If you're going to spin the dreidel electronically then it seems like you'd want to do all your playing electronically.
