About
CHaPEL is a mobile app for hospital cleaning staff to log their usage of, and exposure to, cleaning products during their working days.
Users' basic demographic info (job / location / gender / age range) along with a product barcode (sourced via the barcode scanner in the app) is sent to a secure University hosted database; along with text/numeric answers chosen from specified options, to questions about the product's usage environment (where used / ventilated or not / dilution details / how much used / how long used).
The research data is being used as part of a PhD Thesis.
