Please remove the limited swipes update, those who do not have C.AI Plus should not have to be limited on swipes, the swipes help us to find the right reply’s to make our roleplays better, keeping this update with make users switch to new platforms, and it will cause you guys to lose a lot of users and money. Get rid of away messages
So yes the app is good I love it but the thing is why the HELL do you want some of the bots to send you away messages like I don't get it I come back to use this app everyday you realize? I don't know bout other people but it's just annoying having a perfect conversation with a bit and the next thing you click off the app for ten minutes and they send you a message like “hellloooooo are you there?” like what do you expect💔😭✌️

I came back on this app after like a year or two and the amount of ads and stuff you have to pay for just to have it as "free" is ridiculous?? I get that money is needed but most times its too much and takes the fun out of the app, so devs if you possibly read this please consider making a change to not making everything cai+ This app used to be really fun and it still is but I hate the amount of adds and limits that keep popping up.

I really don’t like how there’s basically a limit for everything like this is the definition of an app gaining so much money that they start changing everything and making most of the stuff having to be paid for in order to have no limits. I used to be on it daily now I just forget it exists.

Character Ai you made the app so terrible now it used to be the place I could go to just to chat with bots but you ruined that for many people by adding ads, swipe limits, and go-on limits. How are people supposed to use this app how they’re supposed to. The filters are annoying too, they are blocking out parts that would make the story more interesting. I can’t even play the app peacefully without getting a limit pop out or remembering I need to be careful with how many swipes and go ons I use. Fix the app please. People are going to sue you if you don’t get your app together and just trying to take people’s money so they can just play the app normally. Please change the app back to its old version. You’re adding useless updates but you’re not fixing the actual issue. Listen to the people! Fix the app!

Restrictions.
This app is more strict than prison. I can’t be intimate with any character without it immediately censoring or changing the reply altogether. You’re updates singlehandedly cured my addiction
Mostly Unusable
Chat quality has severely degraded with the latest models, and swiping to generate new responses has been bugged in-app for literal months. Cannot recommend the app at all in this state.
It’s awful now
This app sucks now, it’s completely downgraded from how it was in 2024. You removed the different characters chats and leave the worse two on there, now it won’t even work when I use my VPN? Plus, you’re not actually updating the app for the user, you’re only updating the app for your own benefit. This app sucks now.

just ruined the app honestly, what’s the point in having an app to “explore characters” if we can’t even text on it, and making us pay to keep chatting after about 100 chats? just delete the app up to this point. worst app ever.
Character ai is past its prime
Ads are bad and milking the gen ai features for money is bad.

So many ads I’m not even kidding. Plus there is some age verification now? From what I remember there was a filter and nothing was actually 18+. I understand the concern for minors but some people use this as a coping mechanism for depression. This app was way better before.

If I could give zero I would
I wanna tell you before you download this app just read this all the way first the app asks you for your face to scan it, and it took me three days for it to scan my face then it asks you for your ID both sides of it. I promise you giving out your personal information isn’t worth it to chat with AI bots I used to love this app and use it every single day but now that this app has ruined itself it’s possibly the worst AI chat app I’ve ever used and I’ve used a lot of bad ones. It’s terrible. There’s so many ads. There’s so many repetitive bots that say the same thing over and over and over no matter what you say. I like this app just not worth it to download so just don’t make it easy on yourself. Don’t download this app.

These people are daft
It’s a shame how this app has become. They don’t listen to users. Millions upon millions have voiced their utter hatred towards the pipsqueak model but they proceed roll out these “bug updates” and add features NOBODY WANTS. At this point this app has become a joke. The CEO is a clown and is shooting himself in the foot. Find another app. The glory days of this app is gone
