I can hardly wait until March when this app is over !
Update 10/18/2024 They don't even update regularly. IPhone just put in a massive 18.0.1 update and this app has yet to update to it.It is as slow to open and then when it is. There is absolutely nothing new since I opened it up a week ago.
All they do os advertise Christian authors books especially a certain author over and over again. I am not a fan of
CBN news but it is much much better than Charisma.
Charisma use to be a great magazine .
Now it can't even be good as a news app . And is classified entertainment in the Apple app store.
They didn't even cover our states's floods, thst is pathetic!!
I clocked how long it takes this app to load and it is between a minute and a half.
Never have seen an app take so long.
And then it is so NOT up to date .
They should not call this a news app.
Oh how I wish O would of never subscribed to thos app. Red flag was when they would not let you subscribe monthly.
After all they have to pay for that brand new building.
At least they have started not having "continual bashing" and making sure ALL Christians are informed of what preachers have fallen from grace.
I appreciated their piece on Amanda Grace as I watch her all the time.
But then they had to follow it up with the bald headed guy(sorry I don't remember his name, he does seem to be a nice man just trying to help us) telling us Doom and Gloom on October.
But then a one liner of BUT of Christians pray it could be averted.
Well I am praying that it won't but there are millions of Christians who donot subscribe to this app or watch Charisma You Tube( I tried watching that channel but gave up) or watch that prophets You Tube channel.
So everyone has an opinion and I am just one person with one
fairly negative of this app.

App won’t load home page
With the new user interface the app wont load properly on my 8th gen iPad 10. It worked great prior to this new format. So I now have subscribed as I must to get 5he content but now it won’t work. Truly disappointed.
Very Encouraging and Informative
I am so thankful for the CHARISMA app. Charisma does a great job covering Christian spiritual related news. it is very uplifting and informs me of great things God is doing in this world, and of what he wants us to pray for. Thank you so much, Stephen Strang.

I like to be able to listen to videos while in “Airplane” mode, but there’s no option for downloading videos.

They say the very same thing as their other news app!!! Do they really think their readers are that stupid that we arenot going to notice it!! Charisma if you don't start improving these two apps I would not be surprised if God takes your magazine/apps and whatever you are doing horribly!
update02/24/2022 I decided to delete this app. There was an article about millennials that I wanted to share to another place but this app does not allow their articles to be shared or copied and paste. So that tells me what they have to say they want"hidden" or that it isn't true maybe? I will never know. #1 - There is not a "Contact us" place on their app, so that is why I have to launder my complaints here on the Review section. I am a former English teacher so I notice when a News app doesnot use proper punctuation, doesnot proofread their news items before putting them on their app, or in the present news item, cannot spell words correctly!!! The misspelled word is in their particular subtitle " Texas Governor recoginizes "filled ministry in an unusual way. The word is " recoginizes" that is spelled wrong. It should be spelled recognizes. So Charisma Plus could at the very least use SPELLCHECK when typing a news article. Obviously, the person who typed this article never won a Spelling Bee!

Blank screen
I have yet to be able to see anything on this screen. Every so often I go and try again….but, to no avail.
Good content
Great content but needs some work and additions. The splash screen will stall if your device is in landscape mode. Also, there is no easy way to share articles with friends and family.
iPad app still not fixed.
Deleted and reinstalled. Still blank screen. Sorry but do not like reading on my phone.

This is is full of information and resources, and all of it is easy to access!
So many apps that want to give you a lot of information does not do a good job of it’s presentation. This is not the case with Charisma PLUS; the app is easy to navigate and find what you’re looking for.
