Charla is a chat assistant that lives on your phone and nowhere else. Most AI apps send everything you type to a server. Charla doesn't. The model runs on your iPhone's own chip, so your questions, your photos, and your files never leave the device. There's no account to create, no login, and nothing to sync. Private by design Your conversations are stored only on this phone. Charla makes no network requests at all after the one-time setup. Delete a chat and it's gone; there is no copy anywhere. Ask it anything Explain a topic, draft an email, plan a trip, work through a problem, rewrite a paragraph. It answers in your language and remembers the conversation. A clean, monochrome design with light and dark modes stays out of your way. What to expect Setup downloads the assistant once, a few gigabytes, best over Wi‑Fi. Charla runs best on recent iPhones and picks the right size for yours automatically. It has no internet access, so it won't know today's news, and like every AI it can be wrong.
