Good, but needs some work
Good concept, exactly what I was looking for. Needs some polish however. The calendar screen and adding/changing icons looks and works great. Adding notes is very cumbersome however. The modal is absolutely positioned near the bottom of the screen rather than towards the top, making the keyboard obscure half the note while typing. Even worse, there are identical save and close buttons, with save being on the left side and close being on the right (which is the opposite of iOS standards, with save and close being effectively OK and cancel buttons). I’ve already completely lost a long note I typed because I pressed the identical looking button on the right (close) simply out of muscle memory. 😣.. get rid of the close button, it’s not that important. Or at least ask confirmation if there’s a note that hasn’t been saved before pressing close.
Setting up calendars is also cumbersome. The color picker needs some work. The select button is right on top of the saturation selector and the predefined color palette making it next to impossible to use these elements.
Finally, it could use a few more icons/stamps to account for even more uses of this app. The ones that are installed are nice, it just seems like it could use several more icons of thoughtful ideas. Also, love the style of the icons, but the home screen icon for the app could be more attractive.
