CheckMate makes splitting the bill simple. Whether you're out at a restaurant, splitting groceries, at a bar, or an event, CheckMate helps you divide costs fairly and fast. Just snap a photo of your receipt or upload one. The app will scan the items, list them out, and let you pick who ordered what. If an item was shared, you can assign it to multiple people and the price is split automatically. You can also manually enter bills if you don't have a receipt. Once you're done assigning items, the app helps you handle tax and tip. You can split both equally or based on how much each person spent. CheckMate then shows everyone’s total, including tax and tip, so there’s no confusion. From there, you can send a Venmo request or just message your friends their amount.
