Useful App
I've used this app when at the shops to pick the better choice between two products, or to help friends see why certain additives are so bad for them.
Genius app! Can use quickly!
We love this app. You can quickly search for the ingredient and check its rating. Definitely worth getting if you are conscientious about the chemicals we are being fed. Well done and thank you to the owner of the app!
My daughter loves it
After using some of the other food ingredient apps, I decided to try this one. It is so simple to use and my daughter now loves to sit in the shopping trolley with my phone checking if the ingredients are safe, or if we should try and avoid them.

I have terrible problems with my skin when I consume or apply anything with artificial colours or flavours, so this is perfect for me to check the ingredient list on products in the supermarket.
effective and well designed
The Chemeleon is now a part of our weekly shopping ritual. It is quick and easy to use - I don't need to wade through paragraphs of text to know if something is good or bad, the colour coding is effective and I can make a judgement at a glance. However, if I do want more information it is concise and well formatted. Many similar apps seem scientific and cold, but my favourite thing about the Chemeleon is that it is neither of these things.
The character is cute and a clever twist for the apps design, this I think would make it great for kids who are shopping with their parents, let them type in the numbers and tell you whether the chemeleon is happy or concerned, keeping them occupied and helping to teach them about the foods they eat.

Easy when shopping
This great little app was exactly what I was looking for. I'm not a super eco person but I do take an interest in what's in my food, especially now I have a little one. This app is super easy to use when you're at the shops and a real eye opener. The colour coding means it's really easy to identify the bad ones (red is bad, green is good, orange is a better choice) and all the supplementary information is easy to understand and retain. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to know what's really in their food.
