Promising but too buggy to trust
Seems like the concept and design of the app is great, but I can’t trust it to work for something as crucial as chemo health tracking. Journal doesn’t work. Calendar crashes the app. Info input is finicky.
An old app that is back in Beta
The app has great potential and a firm idea but has been neglected with updates only to keep up with OS. The app starts crashing quickly and soon hangs completely, with no response from the developer, at which point your data is hung up inside their system, and your history locked/lost.
User interface is overly precise - asking for fine detail rather than allowing quick and useful entry by a stressed-out chemo patient; fields that should be optional are mandatory so they can capture the data to sell, times down to minute level of accuracy requiring tedious scrolling, UI not longer fitting smaller screens, editing entry must be done in order of field entry - cant go back.
Th e framework is there for a really helpful app but the developers have decided to let it go and automate a blog from the data.

Glitches
This looked great until I started using it. I have logged everything religiously but when I try to use the calendar (to see when I last took a message or my last BM), it unexpectedly quits.... every time.
Same thing happens when I try to go to “charts”
So, it’s basically useless.

Lost in update
I loved Chemo Wave until this update. I lost all my data for the past month of Chemo and the app doesn’t work any more. I hope this can be fixed because I really liked it and it helped me and my doctors track my symptoms and medications
Response from developer
Hello mast369, Thanks for your feedback on this issue. Our team is able to resolve this quickly for you, no problem. Please reach out to support@chemowave.com and we'll be happy to assist you further. - Jaren, chemoWave team
Meds duplicating
This concept is really appealing to me for tracking my chemo symptoms. I love the symptom tracker capabilities but when I add my medications they are all appearing in duplicate which is dangerous because it looks like I haven’t taken my meds when I have. Anyone else seeing this bug?

So easy to use. I wish this had been created before my wife passed from Melanoma. You must get this App today.
Has bugs
Would not allow medication entry, app instantly closed.
Amazing app that is helping me so much!
Struggling with cancer is hard enough...but having access to the chemoWave application is making my life, and my families lives, so much better as I proceed through treatment. Thanks to the entire chemoWave team for supporting me, my family, and the cancer care community.
Bummed
Was excited to find an app to use for tracking chemo experience..but sadly, on my iPhone SE I can’t even get past the user agreement page, as the submit button isn’t accessible (covered by the agreement checkboxes and can’t scroll). Please reconsider the experience for those with “smaller” phones.
Can’t use on iPhone 6S
They designed the screens in a way so that when you are creating an account not everything shows on an iPhone 6S. Sounds like a great idea but unfortunately not every cancer patient can afford a new iPhone.
Thyroid Issues
Using to track my health as related to my thyroid disease. This has been the perfect tool and so helpful. Can’t wait to show my doctor and see how it will help me get a handle on medications.
Horrible after update
I updated this app a few days ago....first I couldn’t log in. Now all of my information is gone, how is this going to help me keep track of my symptoms! I really liked this app but now I have nothing to present to my doctors. 😢
Deleted - too instructive bad privacy policy
Privacy policy is essentally we can do anything we want with your personably identifiable data including sharing it with our partners, whomever that may be. No thanks
It was great for 2 days
For two days, it looked like something I could really use. It’s been another two days now, however, when I can’t logon. When I try, it immediately closes down.
Keeps closing when I login
I wanted to love this app. Especially being new to chemo and learning of all of the side effects that I didn’t know I would have. I want to track to share with my oncologist however, I can’t login.
Amazing app!
This app has helped me to provide my doctor with better information about my experiences and symptoms between visits, which has been a game changer. Better information has equaled exponentially better treatment. Very grateful.
A great tool
Whenever I have gone to the doctor I never can remember exactly what I wanted to say. I find this app very helpful because it allows you to record what and how you are feeling in a particular moment each day so you don't forget between doctor visits. It's a game changer. Thank you ChemoWave.
Amazingly helpful
I love this app! One of the worst things about receiving a cancer diagnosis is the overwhelming feeling of hopelessness. You feel like there is nothing you can do. This app changes all that. There ARE things you can do, like tracking your eating habits, moods, energy level, side effects, etc. and communicating all of the information to your doctor. It not only helps you feel like you are more in control of your situation, but it also helps your doctor provide the most effective treatment possible. Healing becomes a team effort. Beneficial adjustments to your treatment can be made. God bless the creators of ChemoWave. It is a great tool that is helping change and save lives.

None
I learned of this app on TV & shared it with few friends who experienced chemo for the first time as well as another who's cancer returned. They were both pleasantly surprised how helpful this app was for their personal use (and being in control) as well as for their physicians who had valuable insight of their patient at their finger tips! Tracking symptoms and getting ahead of it actually resulted in less unnecessary medications! Win win! Chemowave puts the patient in control and ahead of the game by managing symptoms like nausea.
