FAQ

What is Chemyst?

Chemyst is a "mix and create"-style game where players combine existing elements to discover new compounds and molecules. You can mix up to four elements at a time, and successful reactions result in new discoveries.

How do I discover new elements?

You discover new elements by mixing basic chemicals like carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen. If the elements in the beaker react, a new item will be formed and added to your unlocked list. The game also provides hints for potential reactions if you make non-reactive mixtures.

Is Chemyst free to play?

Yes, Chemyst is a free game. The developers plan to add new elements and reactions for free in future updates.

What information is available about discovered elements?

For each discovered element, you can see basic information directly within the app. Additionally, you can access the dedicated Wikipedia page for each element to learn more.

What are the use cases for Chemyst?

Chemyst is primarily a game for entertainment and discovery. It can also serve as a fun way to learn about basic chemistry concepts and element interactions in a simulated environment.
