Unreliable App & Poor Support

Absolutely terrible experience. This app has been a complete waste of time. I’ve been trying to make a credit card payment, but it keeps showing the same error for days with no resolution whatsoever.

Customer support is just as bad. The chat agents are extremely slow to respond, don’t seem to care about resolving the issue, and simply ask you to wait for several more days instead of actually helping. It feels like once you report a problem, you’re left on your own.

I would never recommend this app for credit card payments, especially if you’re making large or urgent payments. If your payment gets stuck, don’t expect timely support or a serious effort to resolve your issue. When your money and payment deadlines are involved, this kind of service is simply unacceptable.

Hi Robin! Days of the same error with support asking you to keep waiting is unacceptable and we own this fully. This is not the CheQ experience we stand for. Please reach out via in-app Help & Support and we will personally escalate and resolve this without any further delay.

Wallet Load Issues

I recently used Cheq app for loading wallet from credit card. After the transaction Money was debited from my Credited card account but money has not been credi into cheq wallet. When i am seeing the transaction details it not properly showing that transaction will cancelled or successful. Only it is showing “Wallet Reload hold for 48 hours” . My 4000 rupees has been stuck for Cheq application. It is my humble request to kindly look into this matter. Because there are no customer care number so that i contact them what happened to my money. But there is only Chatbox and mail option. I did all things but still not received a proper resolution.
So it is my concern to customer care kindly Help me regard my issue

Response from developer

Hi Soumya! At CheQ, wallet payments are designed to be instant, very few may undergo strong security checks to ensure the safety of your funds. The amount should have reflected in your wallet and been available for instant transfer or voucher redemption. For any queries, please use the Help & Support section available in the app.

Payment stuck and zero support

I used CheQ to pay my HDFC Pixel credit card bill, and while the money was instantly debited from my account, the payment did not reflect on my card even after hours. The app claims transfers happen within 30 minutes, but in reality it can take up to 2 business days, which is misleading.

Customer support is slow and not easily accessible — there’s no direct helpline, only email or in-app tickets. For a financial app handling large payments, this lack of real-time support is unacceptable.

CheQ needs to improve transparency, speed of settlement, and provide reliable customer care. Until then, I cannot recommend it for critical payments like credit card bills.

Response from developer

Hi Bipin! Sorry to hear about your experience. At CheQ, payments are processed at lightning speed and confirmation is also shared by your bank. In some cases, banks may take a little longer to update the card statement or reflect the payment. We appreciate your feedback on support and transparency, and we're continuously working to improve the overall experience for our users.

Hi Sonu! Sorry to hear you’re experiencing this. At CheQ, such payments are settled instantly, a very few may take time due to security checks to ensure transaction safety. We believe your payment should have been settled. For any queries/concerns, please reach out via Help & Support in the app - our team can assist you further.

Deceptive practices regarding data and account deletion

If you have value your personal information, stay away.

I have been trying to delete my account, primarily because the rewards and benefits are useless, but the process is intentionally designed to keep you permanently in a loop of exhausting confirmations.

After requesting deletion in the app, I was forced to email them too. That email led to a request for reasons. After providing the reasons, I received a lecture justifying their stance and a request for another confirmation. Even after 4 rounds of back and forth, they still haven’t confirmed if my account or data has been erased. This is simply a retention tactic designed to tire users down until they give up, against all security protocols and a massive red flag for any fintech app. Avoid this app at all costs.
