Excellent beginner app!
This one is very good! Even if you do not have the book (book helps though).
I love the written, in syllabary, words at the top of the picture so you can associate printed word with idea instead of only trying to hear the distinctions. And I love that I can play the audio of the word as many times as I want or need.
The buzzer that you get when you are incorrect is somewhat disturbing in sound quality for those sensitive to sounds but you can turn down the volume on your device if the buzzer becomes too distressing.
I really like that this isn’t just nouns, it’s concepts, actions, and so on.
It’s really quite amazing.
