Amazing for learning Cherokee but could use improvements
Using this app is very helpful for learning Cherokee. The word of the day on the Home Screen is a really good idea, but there should be an optional notification each day to deliver the WoTD to your lock screen. The glossary is not complete as well. Some words and most phrases are not included in the current app, such as ᎤᏚᎵ, which is mentioned a lot in the See, Say, Write book/online language courses. As someone studying the See, Say, Write moodle courses, I would appreciate having more sentences and phrases that do not directly translate to English listed in this app.
There is now a bible section where you can read the bible in the Cherokee language, which is great for learning even if you are not religious. I do miss the AI feature as it had a lot of potential but it appears to be gone from a recent update. Hopefully this is brought back and updated to work a bit better than before.
Other than that, the app is functionally great and a good companion to have for learning to speak Cherokee, but could use some continued development.
