Chesed Club

RAISE KINDER KIDS, ONE STORY AND ONE ACT AT A TIME. Chesed Club turns daily storytime into meaningful family time that helps children understand kindness — and discover how to put it into action. EVERY DAY, DISCOVER A NEW STORY Read a short, meaningful story with your child and explore lessons about kindness, empathy, generosity, caring for others and making good choices. TURN STORIES INTO CONVERSATIONS After each story, take a moment to talk together. Ask questions, share thoughts and help your child connect what they’ve read to situations they see in everyday life. TURN KINDNESS INTO ACTION Each child has their own digital wallet with Chesed Club coins. Children decide how to use their coins and which causes matter most to them — learning to make thoughtful choices about giving and where their help can make a difference. If your family chooses, parents can add real funds and let children use their Chesed Club coins to support real charitable causes. Chesed Club is free to use. Real donations are always optional. HELP THEM LEARN WHAT GIVING MEANS By choosing where their coins go, children begin to understand that helping others involves thought, priorities and responsibility. They get to consider different needs, decide what matters to them and see how even a small contribution can have meaning. MAKE KINDNESS PART OF EVERYDAY LIFE Chesed Club helps kindness become part of the way your family talks, thinks and acts — one small moment at a time. Because the habits children build today can shape the way they care for others for a lifetime. --- "Chesed" is the Hebrew word for loving-kindness — the kind you do, not just talk about. Chesed Club was created by MADA Community Center to help families raise children who notice others, care, and act. Start your family's kindness streak today.
