Would be nice to be able to block an abusive player

Canโ€™t log in!

Iโ€™ve been involved with Chess by Post for years. When my phone updated, I was kicked out and only left to install the โ€œPremiumโ€ edition. It is quite the departure from the other venue and I canโ€™t (no matter how many different passwords I use) get into the new one. Our whole family used Chess by Post. Being locked out prevents me from communicating with them each day. (At least on the site). It sure looks like Chess by Post wants to ad advertising and charge us for using their site. What happened to just playing chess?

Used to be great for meโ€ฆ

The app used to work great. Now games donโ€™t update for forever. I can no longer play ranked games as I get resigned due to the 8-12 days it takes to update a game. Itโ€™s a shame as I now have Chess friends around the world. Is this a common bug since the app update?

Time Controls

I wish there was an option to choose time controls. Default is 5 days per move. I would like to choose between 1 and 5 days. When playing multiple games it would be nice if the next position when it is my turn to move is displayed rather than manually choosing each game when it is my turn. It would be nice if I could view my opponentโ€™s completed games instead of just win loss draws and search for games by ECO.

A decent app with a couple of issues.

The app, overall, is speedy and works as intended. Unfortunately, I see no way to start a rated game that isnโ€™t random.

Why canโ€™t we start a rated game against our friends? Also, itโ€™s been like this for years now- the chat deletes apostrophes. Itโ€™s the only app Iโ€™ve ever seen do that.
