I usually do not write reviews, but this one top it all as the worst App ever, as free I expect some ads but this one?, drive you crazy with 100's of ads, you can not got back in a move to learn, you can not edit the board for a specific game you want to try or explain, it react so aggressive and quick that you can not even think your next moves.........there plenty others good chess games out there that you can try and buy I encourage you go for others first.

Too much publicity, I couldn't even start a game, it even made the app crash twice...

So many ads, It sometimes crashes trying to get the ads displayed!
The chess engine might be good, but I have now played four games and it crashes when in check, when castling, or on pawn promotion. When it crashes you will lose your game unless you save it ahead of time.

I am giving this game 3 stars, not because it is bad, but right off the bat, the game brings out the "master" part. Not sure what strength means, since no matter what it seems to whoop me. Anyway, before you play, heavily look into the options menu, unless you are bobby Fischer, of course. Note: it worked fine until I went into the options, then crashed constantly. Last the pieces are hard to tell apart, at least in marble, didn't get to check the others.

Ad pop ups constantly. Didn't even get a game started to try this app before choosing to buy.

Such a stupid game do not download it it stops in the middle of your game and force closes down ALOT!!!!
Pretty Good
Would benefit from a few simple fixes. Board orientation is incorrect - switched left for right. Also hard to tell king, queen, bishops, and pawns apart. Blazing fast.

No undo with poor interface for iPhone. Too many ads. Delete
Strong engine
I down loaded chessmaster on my wifes I pad it has some good features.And has a very strong chess engine 2700 elo.The only downside is it does not rate your play or have quick access foreword or backward buttones or show you analysis.the program does tend to freeze sometimes.
