Ads ruin the game
I like the app for playing and learning chess. The problem is the ads. Sometimes there’s no way to get out of them. I just wait and wait for the x to pop up and the only thing it offers is to open the App Store for the game it’s advertising.

I’ve been using this app for over ten years. However, I had no idea it had become so full of ads and so ridiculous. I used to be able to use it offline. Now, there’s an ad for every single game—can you believe such nonsense?

Paid for no ads, and get tons of ads
I paid for no ads, yet I still have to watch very long ads. And it’s so sneaky. Yes I’m sure there are LESS ads than if u don’t pay, but when you’re close to winning, it’s calls a stalemate and asks if it want to retry your last move. You say yes, then you have to watch, no joke, like a 3 minute ad.

It’s a offline board game, Turn off your WiFi if you do not want advertisements.

This app is good for people who simply want to be better at chess nothing more. From personal experience chess.com was way to in your face and annoying whereas this is simply just a game! Good way to become a better player. ♟️
