It’s really easy to lose track of time with Chess Peace. The blend of difficulty means that some puzzles are solved in less than a minute, while others will take longer. Chess Peace is addictive fun, elegantly crafted and the satisfaction of solving the “hard” puzzles is well worth the download 🤩 Thanks Sam for an outstanding app!

I like that there are many free levels. So you can try everything out before deciding to buy.
More good stuff: There’s no slogging through levels until you hit a wall. You get to pick your level of difficulty.
You get 3 free hints per puzzle. You can redo old puzzles, with more free hints.

Does not load
Was excited to play this played one daily puzzle (hard) and was hard defo made me work hard for it only to then try play a casual level and have the game freeze countless times before even loading a new game up. 2 stars because I like the idea and can see it being fun … missing the other 3 cause I can’t flipping play!

Great. Just great
Super fun. Good quick (except when they aren’t!) brain teasers. Very creative idea. Also, just beautiful to look at. I want a tip system. I’d pay but then I’d spend all day playing and I can’t do that. But I’d love to give the developer a few bucks. Free game every day is great.

Interesting concept, nice execution, and I wonder how long it took you to remove alternative solutions from each puzzle. I’m definitely interested to see where this concept goes
Fun twist on chess
Great little game that’s perfect for a quick session (or a long one). In the spirit of the earlier game Really Bad Chess, it takes the well-known principles of chess and throws them into a blender with new mechanics.

Daring Fireball brought me here. Wonderful design and attention to detail, great puzzles and customizability, and reasonably priced to unlock all features. My new favorite iOS casual game! Nice to have an alternative to so many word- and number-based games. The name of the app being such an apt pun is the cherry on top.

Wonderful app
This is a well-crafted app with effectively infinite puzzles to solve across a range of difficulties. I’ve found this to be a great resource when I need a break from stressful times. Highly recommended.
Fun and peaceful
If you’re interested in the mechanics of chess but don’t enjoy the pressure, give this a shot. The concept is clever, and the game is well-designed. The free version is very playable, and after a few days, I was happy to upgrade to paid. (Appreciate the one time fee for that, too.)

Soothing and fairly addictive. Especially when conquering that hard level that you’d convinced yourself was impossible and thought the game must have glitched!
I have a recommendation/request though, some sounds when placing pieces would be a nice feature. Preferably a choice of sounds would be ideal, but even just a nice satisfying soft “clunk” would be good.
Also maybe some calming background music perhaps? Again, a choice would be even better, but otherwise just one repeating soothing sound would be good. Binaural beats may be an idea?
