Thoughtfully designed, and fun to play
One of the most carefully crafted apps I have ever used, both its macOS and iOS personalities. Developer’s attention to detail, and thoughtful design are well apparent. PLUS it’s a fun, challenging, highly customizable game besides!
How good is it?
Okay but could be better if they didn’t try to make me waste my money all the time.

I really like how it will ask you for a review and once you give it the 5 stars you think it deserved it lock the game and you have to pay 👍

Une façon très particulière et ludique d’aborder les échecs. L’horizon limité à quelques cases permet de ne pas se sentir noyé par le nombre de possibilités d’un échiquier standard.

It’s really easy to lose track of time with Chess Peace. The blend of difficulty means that some puzzles are solved in less than a minute, while others will take longer. Chess Peace is addictive fun, elegantly crafted and the satisfaction of solving the “hard” puzzles is well worth the download 🤩 Thanks Sam for an outstanding app!

And also lots of fun. This is easily a 5-star game.
I like that there are many free levels. So you can try everything out before deciding to buy.
More good stuff: There’s no slogging through levels until you hit a wall. You get to pick your level of difficulty.
You get 3 free hints per puzzle. You can redo old puzzles, with more free hints.

Does not load
Was excited to play this played one daily puzzle (hard) and was hard defo made me work hard for it only to then try play a casual level and have the game freeze countless times before even loading a new game up. 2 stars because I like the idea and can see it being fun … missing the other 3 cause I can’t flipping play!

Super fun. Good quick (except when they aren’t!) brain teasers. Very creative idea. Also, just beautiful to look at. I want a tip system. I’d pay but then I’d spend all day playing and I can’t do that. But I’d love to give the developer a few bucks. Free game every day is great.

Have to pay for 99% of levels would be a good game if I could play it without being blocked by a paywall

Interesting concept, nice execution, and I wonder how long it took you to remove alternative solutions from each puzzle. I’m definitely interested to see where this concept goes

Fun twist on chess
Great little game that’s perfect for a quick session (or a long one). In the spirit of the earlier game Really Bad Chess, it takes the well-known principles of chess and throws them into a blender with new mechanics.
