Bait and switch.
Pay $9.99, get lessons on how the pieces move and nothing else. Pay another $2.99 and they’ll teach you some more.
Ai Driven
At least the Ai engine has empathy, and allows a very below average chess player to win a game every now and again. Don’t believe me? Find a person you know who is a below average chess player and ask them if they will sit down and play at least 9 games in order to cement my theory.
Good learning tool
I like the lessons in the beginning. I struggle with mid and end game tactics and this app has helped me coordinate attacks and defenses much more effectively
Best way to learn the chess on this application
Best way to learn the chess it teach you the move invented in India what a game play this to sharp your mind all parents have to teach this game to their kids brain to be sharp very good game. I learned chess from this game five star.

Trust me - as the creators say, Absolutely worth the money
(Following this is the default praise from the app creator, but it’s true. I’m a beginner and have played this for years. Brilliant especially for those learning the game). Really good app. Good for beginners. You can set difficulty very, very low and ramp up slowly as you beat progressively higher AI settings. Free app requires you to win a certain amount to keep playing, which means you'll tend to stay at a comfortable level. Paid app removes that so you can challenge yourself.

Excellent App for many levels
This app really gets better over time. The author was very responsive when I reported a bug and they constantly release updates to continue improve the app.
I most value the app “critical review” feature, where you can automatically review the past critical moments and learn from them to improve.
Another distinctive feature is the ability to just turn on “Threat warning” or “Suggestion”. Other apps can only turn suggestions on or off, spoiling your intimidating and independent thinking.
If you haven’t bought the Pro version yet, I strongly recommend to do that because it will offer more useful features and you’ll not be disappointed.

Best chess app ever
The training mode shows me the error of my ways and suggests better moves with explanations
Most Bodacious! (Update)
Thank you Christophe!
Just played my 8,494th game and still enjoying the challenge the game presents (2800 elo) — looking forward to the next 8000+ games.
Thanks again team from a grateful player!

Best chess game app out there
It would be great if you could play different openings by name. I’ve been using this app for years and it’s the greatest. You can play against the computer and work your way up the Elo difficulty ladder. You can save games and import games to watch and learn. I do wish that the developer would create a set of PGN lessons to import. I would buy a lesson plan to help learn specific openings and strategies. But even just as is Chess Pro is the Best!

3/5 not good for professional suggestions
If you are just playing casually then of course this helps but if you were trying to be as good as a pro this is NOT the app for you. It sometimes gives wrong suggestions that it shouldn’t be giving. I can see better more professional moves than this app could. Rarely it will show some pro moves like sacrifices but very rarely.

Muy bueno!
Le faltan opciones de learning, aperturas, estrategia, solo es para jugar partidas.
Great chess app
Good to learn chess and practice your game. The free analysis for every game is also extremely good for learning
Arrows and Hints are too bold.
Love the game, but this latest incarnation has ruined the gui for me.
Please give an option to set the arrows red and green ones etc, as thin or bold, or just dump the bold.
Thanks.

Thanks.
Plays good games.
Has interesting Master/tournament games.
Wish it had search features to help select which players, year, location you want to see.
I highly recommend this app!
