As a rule, I don't prefer to give any Apps 5 stars, firstly, I feel all Apps could use improvements, secondly too many 5 star ratings, and soon the developers become complacent. If there was a 4 and1/2, that's what I would rate this app, 4.5 stars.
To who ever said he was playing using this App in AI Mode, you are sadly mistaken! 'CHESS TIME' *DOES NOT* have AI Mode! That being said, 'CHESS TIME LIVE' probably does. I hate CHESS TME LIVE!

I'll be perfectly upfront! This is a chess app, that if I could give an analogy, the analogy is that it would be a digital version of playing chess through the mail. The minimum amount of time that is allowed is 24 hours. The max i believe is a month, but don't quote me in that. I play 48 hr games.
There are ratings, though I don't see the validity in the ratings, since anyone using 'CHESS TIME' can be using books, software and other things to analyze any game.
I play people from across the globe, I chat with one or two people occasionally.
Overall, this is a simple app with a simple interface! This app allows for learning and also enjoying the brilliant game of chess!

AI CHEATS
Okay, normally i love this game. Ive been playing their “AI Mode” on hard mode for a week, and caught it on camera cheating. That is wild. I wish there was a spot to upload because that means there are people in game who can cheat as well. Crazy.
Great app for extended games
I play a lot of blitz on the bigger chess apps, but Chess Time was recommended to me by a friend who wanted to play a longer game. I started using it a few years ago and have been hooked ever since. It’s a part of my daily life and I’m really grateful for the quality and simplicity of the gaming experience. Thank you, Chess Time!

Learned to play
I learned to play chess, from a friend cross country, and though I was slow at playing back, this app made it very easy to learn. I never did beat him lol.

Boost player’s intro greeting
I believe if the developer add to the invite link with a larger handshake emoji to pop up to start a game on both sides (game won’t start until the handshake) it will bring a little more respect and integrity back into the game by a small percentage and bring higher traffic and become most talked about because no one else is doing it. I started using the handshake emoji in 2013 a few years back and 50% of my games return the hand shake. We lose time on the board implementing the initial handshake before each game.

I am in the UK and play frequently with my son in Australia. Great way of keeping in touch and catching up with news. I have enjoyed playing against other players all over the world.

dislike how the app does not kno how to castle. Can’t tell u how many times I’ve done only 1/2 the move, then been stuck w it. Chess.com = more sophisticated

I love this app, play chess everyday but now for some reason the adds that appear at the bottom are bigger and the only way to access the buttons at the bottom is to watch the damn add, I wish I can add the picture
