Chess Titans (Beta) is a chess application that introduces a novel strategic element by allowing players to unlock and upgrade chess pieces. These pieces have unique movement patterns, enabling players to create entirely new strategies and approaches to the classic game. It also features online PvP matches and progression through different arenas.
As you level up in Chess Titans, you can unlock new chess pieces that replace the standard ones. For example, you can swap Pawns for Squires or Knights for Pegasus, each with distinct movement abilities. This allows for deep customization and strategic rethinking of traditional chess gameplay.
Yes, the application is free to download and play. However, it does offer in-app purchases, which may include options for unlocking or upgrading pieces, and it also contains advertisements.
Absolutely. The app allows you to challenge your friends directly to online PvP chess matches. This feature adds a social dimension to the game, letting you test your custom strategies against people you know.
As your ELO rating increases, you will progress through different themed arenas, starting from the Fields Arena and potentially advancing to the Desert, Jungle, and Volcano Arenas, and even the Royale League. Competing in higher arenas often unlocks more advanced chess pieces, further diversifying strategies.
