That's because you tried to match the Trainer's thinking time. The Trainer plays quickly because we don't want to keep the user waiting, but you should NOT try to play that fast. Give yourself an average of one minute to think before making your move. If you find it too difficult to play at this slower pace, simply ignore the Trainer’s Elo rating and find the level that matches your own. Once you’ve found it, whatever that level may be, you’ll have found the right starting point for your training.
