Quirky

Major flaw: it does not recognize en passant, in the puzzles and the Arcade games. Emails to Support bounce. ?

Nice features. But forces you to start at the weakest bot. But, I worked my way up and beat it at 2750, once so far. The analysis is nicely presented, giving you the chance to find the best moves for either side.

One issue: if I choose Play The Computer, I can opt for Black, White, or Random. Now, if I play the bots, I get a streak of playing only W or only B. Please make this random.

Thanks for the detailed feedback — and congrats on working your way up, that’s impressive Starting from the weakest bot is a deliberate part of the progression system, but we understand it may not suit everyone and we’ll keep this in mind. The crash after completing a puzzle or game is definitely not expected — sorry about that. Please make sure you’re on the latest version, and if the issue continues, contact us via in-app support so we can investigate and fix it. We really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience!

Nice features. But forces you to start at the weakest bot. But, I worked my way up and just now beat it at 2700 for the first time.
The app is no longer crashing. So, I am able to do the puzzles. Also, can now access the analysis after each game. Nicely done with 2-step hints and the line resulting from the best move.

One issue: if I choose Play The Computer, I can opt for Black, White, or Random. If I play the arcade bots, I always get White. This makes no sense. Please fix.

Nice features. But forces you to start at the weakest bot. But, I worked my way up and am beating it at 2250, even though I’m usually around 2050.
One bug: whenever you complete a puzzle or game, the app crashes.
