What's New Piece visuals — 5 distinct drawing styles Pieces are no longer just recolored versions of the same shape. A new PieceStyle system now supports: Classic — original Staunton-inspired silhouettes (15 earlier themes) Geometric — minimal flat shapes (circle, triangle, diamond, square) Angular — sharp faceted polygon pieces Blocky — chunky pixel-art style pieces Runic — ornate layered rings with engraved glyph cores and orbiting dot accents 5 new board themes (20 total) Obsidian Geo, Neon Grid, Pixel Arcade, Mystic Rune, and Coral Reef — each pairs a new color palette with one of the new piece styles, so picking these themes changes both board colors and piece shape, not just tint. Theme picker now scrolls Fixed a bug where the theme list overflowed the screen with no way to scroll. Now wrapped in a proper ScrollView with more compact rows, so all 20 themes are reachable. Theme picker shows accurate previews The mini-board preview now renders using each theme's actual piece style, so what you see before selecting is what you get on the real board. Theme button more discoverable The theme toggle now has a colored ring matching the current theme's accent color, plus a one-time red notification dot for first-time users. Compact full-screen board layout Chrome stripped down to two thin strips (top: status + captures + settings icons; bottom: captures + feature icons) so the board fills nearly the whole screen.
