Good app but when I play games I get no sound, I’ve checked the settings and theme. Hope you can fix this bug.
A fun app
I like doing the chess puzzles on this app and the daily challenges.
Good old days
The free version used to be better and did not force ads. I know they are trying to pay for the app but it is not as good as it used to be.
Cheating
Beware, you would be surprised how many people actually are cheating here. Very low ranked people with 90% accuracy, same as 2000 plus ranked people, highly unlikely lol. And Chess.com does nothing about it. Basically a whole Netflix series about it. Really takes the fun out of chess. If I could give zero stars I would. I have been using the app for 5 plus years now, and it’s just gone down hill over the last couple years.

Unethical-Fraudulent-Antisport
This app is very malicious.
1) The opponent time nerve ends. (Supposed to be another human player, but most of the time it’s just another bot with the same moves and strategies.)
The timers always returning to previous opponent timer readings or not moving forward and your timer seconds running like milliseconds.
2) if you complaint by submitting a report they will just send you this message:
We have detected the one or more of your recent opponents has violated our Fair Play Policy. As compensation for potentially unfair rating losses, we adjusted your following ratings:
Blitz: 1495 + 1 => 1496
This a joke! Cause there is not compensation for your time, the time you invested on the game and the money you had invested on the app.
It’s too pricey and waste of time for what the app really is.
3) If you tell them the truth or state it openly in a forum, they will try to silence you with messages like these:
Unable to join tournaments due to Sportsmanship violation. Play more fair games to lift restriction.
Conclusion:
All the players and members of the U.S Chess federation should propose to sanctioning the Chess.com platform due to the numerous violations of fair play and emotional and financial harm inflicted upon players.
It is time to protect the beautiful sport of Chess from these unscrupulous entities that care only about profit while disregarding sporting values.

They let a hacker steal 14Gigs of customer data. I might suck at chess, but why didn’t they do more to protect our data? And we have heard nothing from Chess.com
