Condones cheating and creates biased games
Does not review reports correctly and allows ongoing and obvious cheating. Inaccurate reflection of elo and generates unfair games if you play too much.
Best instructional app
I love this so much I had no idea how pieces eve move before this. So many customizable learning puzzles it’s taught me such an gift I’ll forever be a fan of this app!

I’ve been at it for 5 minutes trying to delete my acc and this stupid app dosent have a button you can press to do that you have to do a whole bunch of steeps to delete your account
Overpriced
This app charges an insane amount for just even the basic annual plan. Literally more than a triple a videogame with jaw dropping graphics. And of course theres no option at all to buy a lifetime membership. Own nothing and be happy I guess…

I would 10-10 suggest gettting chess.com I got the game about a week ago and i have already gotten better at chess!

15 years on. Still tons of fun.
Needs one feature added to the app. Conditional moves. You can do them on the web site but not on the app.
Good but could be better
This is a classic example of this biggest platform being the best because it’s basically the only option. The game feels very nice and can do a great job at teaching new and intermediate players alike.
Things I don’t like:
If I’m on an another tab for 30 seconds out of a 30 minute game, in what would should that be an abandonment? Seriously?
I used to be able to change my pieces and boards on mobile to any combination but now have to pick from a preset. You can mix and match on the desktop version.
The premium features are at an outrageous price-$50 a year.
I am constantly logged out and need to log back into the game. It’s extremely frustrating.
The AI coach is needs work. I find the concept fascinating but it is nowhere near what it could be and goes off on tangents that aren’t related to what should be played.
