I really like this it helped me so much to get better at chess and I can play with friends.
Ridiculous
Earlier you could play without paying. Now, they show adds after every game or when I open the app. Time to switch. I am not paying for a game of chess.
What is good about chess.com
I am only a kid yet chess.com has helped me get better from daily chess puzzles to chess games when ever I like
Support is poor now, and good features are being switched off.
I used to find it easy to get support. I understand that this is more difficult with more members, but it should be much easier to indicate when human support is the only solution. The chatbot is never close to answering my questions.
Most of the issues I have relate to great features which have changed. E.g. how do I see where my ranking is in the rapid pool, or the puzzle pool? How do I do rated puzzles without it flashing “brilliant” etc? How do I stop my board settings keep switching to “show legal moves” without my permission every few days.
When you are really enjoying certain features and they get removed it is frustrating, but the worst part is not being able to engage a human in a dialogue about it.

Good except for learning openings.
learning openings is only 10 puzzles related to the opening. i did not know the opening at all when by the end it said i had mastered it. 🧄
Annoying Cessation
When the play gets to prolonged strategy where the opponent is about to lose, game is called a draw. Really tarnishes the experience.
Embarrassing
Tired of its constant design changes for absolutely no reason, and always for children, like stepping stones for playing puzzles really? Get a grip. No customer service when I’ve been locked out of my account and been charged and couldn’t get in touch with anyone. Appalling. I used to love this app and sign up all the time now I’ll never pay a penny again.

Can falsely ban you
It was fun to play on but then my account was falsely terminated for normally playing with the fair play then having to make a new account and also the appeals can take up to 5 days and they decided my appeal and I was not happy and when I gave it a chance it popped up with play fare which now I hate. It used to be fun but you need to mostly pay to play and now I really don’t like the game it sucks.
