What's New in Chessfisher

2.3.0

September 18, 2026

Push notifications are here. Play the World Gauntlet and, when the day closes, you'll hear where you finished: Gold, Silver, Bronze, top 10, or your rank in the world. Tap it to see the board. Turn them on from the Main Menu or in Settings. A new Main Menu. Daily Puzzle and The Gauntlet up front, with a ring that shows how much of today you've done. Tap the ring for the breakdown. Press and hold the app icon to jump straight to the Daily Puzzle, the Gauntlet, your Stats or the Leaderboard. Landscape everywhere. Every screen now works with your phone held sideways. The Gauntlet, sharper. Watch solve points fly into your Depth and mistakes drip out of it. A cleaner HUD, a rules card you can read in one glance, and a result card that waits for the final score. Stats. Your Daily Rating now shows how it moved on your latest day, up or down.

An absolute must-have for any chess enthusiast!

Chessfisher has completely transformed my daily chess routine. The puzzle selection is incredible—super engaging, clever, and fun to solve.
One of my favorite features is the customizability. Being able to personalize the board styles and piece sets gives the app a sleek, fresh feel every time I open it. On top of that, the developer is constantly dropping updates that bring smooth performance upgrades and thoughtful new details.
The daily challenges are the real cherry on top. They push you to think outside the box and are genuinely helping me sharpen my tactics and become a better player overall. Highly recommend downloading it if you're looking to elevate your game!
