The Climb. Fourteen chapters, one for each master, from Morphy to Kasparov. Every six puzzles you solve lays a stone on their road, wherever you solved them: the one at midnight that let you into Instagram counts the same as the one you chose to play. The road stops at twenty-eight of their own games, and every one you solve goes into your album as a card. You never have to open the tab for it to move. Solving is still the only thing you do. A deeper deck. Eight thousand positions became nearly fourteen thousand, and the ceiling moved from 2400 to 2700. Puzzles now arrive at your rating instead of just under it. Harder, and the rating means more for it. Home was rebuilt around the two numbers worth watching: what you have earned today, and where your screen time actually went. Setup starts you closer to your real strength. Everything you had is where you left it. Same rating, same sealed apps.
