Worst app

I m able to go to any screen .. the moment click on link it ask to upgrade by purchasing package . If in app purchase is must to use this app .. why the hell marking this app as free.

As you may know there are many revenue models within the apps and we have decided to use the freemium model (free to download with locked content). We have never implied anything other than that. Even if you look at the app store page, it says that the app contains In App Purchases and it shows a price for each one of them.

Free?

Deleting this app. There’s nothing free about it. Everything you tap on brings up the offer to upgrade for $2.99. No info whatsoever within the app that I can see without the upgrade.

The reason behind this is for travelers to be able to enjoy everything in an offline mode without paying for roaming charges while they travel. Even being able to use geolocalization capabilities such as GPS or Augmented Reality without being connected to your cell phone provider. Constantly interrupts you every 2 minutes asking for $2.99 to upgrade. No thanks.

Just shows picture icons of obvious tourist traps and then prompts you to pay to learn anything about it.

This app has suffered a complete redesign and it is great!!! New features added and more intuitive. I love it and it is very useful while using in the city of Chicago.

Total crap! Ça vaut pas de la "marde"!

Une véritable arnaque! It's a scam!
À éviter absolument! Avoid!
Une application qui plante au bout de quelques instants à peine lorsque non connecté au WiFi.
Information non fiable lorsque disponible et la traduction française est tout simplement incompréhensible la plupart du temps et non fidèle à la version originale anglaise.

Not free at all.

If you advertise your app as FREE 100% full access, then don't hide 90% of the content behind in app purchases. This is downright misleading and fraudulent.

This app has only limited information that is not useful. Attractions has only very generic info, no public transport info, no info operation hours, tickets price etc. Even no url to link the official web site of the attractions. I had to google to get the info. Useless app.

Big disappointment!

Waste of money. Could find very little detail. No info on famous architect Frank Lloyd Wright nor Chicago Art Institute.

OK, but not great

This app provides some useful information but the reference to tourism in 2007 makes me wonder how up to date it is.

Ne fonctionne pas la majorité du temps. Quand ça fonctionne trop d'icônes d'édifices se superposent donc impossible de choisir celui que l'on veut. Le GPS n'est pas au point.

Great Chicago Travel Guide

I've really liked, I went to Chicago with my kids last month and we were at Illinois Center, Burnham Park and at the Chicago Harbour Lighthouse, the guide was helpful, it's always better than carrying a real book. We liked the augmented reality feature and the maps. Way to go etips!

Worthless!

Only a few suggestions, only 5 hotel choices, a few restaurants given. The free guides are 100% better. Don't bother with this one. Save your $.

Don't waste your money!

Very limited searches. For example with all the restaurants and hotels in Chicago they have them divided into categories based on cost ranges. There are only about five restaurants and five hotels in each category. I suspect those listed sponsored the app. Two thumbs down.
