Poor accuracy, big on marketing tricks
Identification is largely on feather colour. Problem is many breeds share common colouring. The marketing and trickery to get you in is full on, right down to hiding exit ramps. Hard pass.

No access to photo gallery
It is not useful to not have access to your photo gallery to identify a chicken

Completely inaccurate
Trying this out and it’s a joke cause it’s saying that my bantams are completely different breeds than they actually are. It’s saying that they are things like standard size breeds don’t download this it’s not accurate in the slightest.

That’s definitely not the experience we want you to have with RoostScan. We’re actively working to improve breed identification, and better accuracy for bantam varieties is something we’ll be focusing on. If you’re willing, please send us the photos through the app so we can look into these specific results and help make the identification more accurate going forward.
Great app!

Don’t work
I took 3 pictures of the same chicken and it gave me a different breed each time.

That definitely shouldn’t happen. We’re working on making breed results more accurate and consistent. If you can, please send us the photos through the app so we can look into what went wrong.
