Cant get editions on daily basis stuck on wed 11 th
Update is annoying
This app has been functional if not flashy, but the update from a week or so ago makes me sign in and 2-step verify every time I open the bloody app. If they don’t fix this I’m going to cancel my subscription to this paper. It’s not worth the effort every day. Please fix this problem!

My newspapers
I’ve been reading the paper for a good fourty years now, and now it’s digital on my iPad. This is simply amazing. I’m also one who loves the touch and smell and sound exc. of the paper that I grew up with. So occasionally I’ll pick it up.but this app is awesome. Thanks Don B

As of April 20th 2022 the paper succumbed to GREED … soon to be swept into the home town newspaper trash bin .

The site is simple to use. Unskilled old guys like me have trouble getting thru lesser sites. This is intuitive to read and use. Thankyou and don’t change anything

We moved from Chico to Oregon last year. As a third generation Chico native, I appreciate being able to read about the people and activities that I wouldn’t know unless I read the Chico ER.

Great app to view paper
Works well, easy to use.

Great way to stay in touch when out of town.
Easier than the paper version
The ER app is much easier to deal with than the paper version, and it relieve my recycle load just a little bit.
Sometimes glitches
I don’t know if it’s the app, or the one who runs the app, but sometimes the story that I choose which then shows up in the right column is not formatted correctly and sometimes even has parts of a paragraph cut off either missing or found elsewhere in the story. Also but it’s only slightly annoying is that many words are stuck together without a space in between them on the right hand side. On the left-hand side where you see the full newspaper it is correct but on the right where it is pasted in for my reading it has issues sometimes is what I’m saying. Other than that I never thought I would leave the print page to read on my tablet but now I am OK with it

Keeping up with hometown doings!
Living in New York State now, and really like that I can keep up with happenings in my hometown of 66 years.
The whole paper
I resisted using the online version until the ER replicated the actual paper, including the appearance of each page. Now that I get the entire paper, I use the digital version and enjoy it just as much.
