Stone, Blade, Cloth, Thunder, Water. Five hands in a ring, each beating exactly two and losing to exactly two. None of them is the strong one.
Chifoumi takes that five-way standoff and adds one thing: you spend your attack before you fight. The shape of the match is set before the first hand is played.
■ Spend first, then fight
Before the match begins you spend 200 attack points across the five hands — at least 10 on each, in steps of 10. A hand you loaded up hits hard when it lands; a thin one barely stings. Your opponent cannot see where you put it.
■ Every hand played is revealed
Each turn you choose one hand you have not used yet. Win the turn and you deal exactly what that hand was worth. If you both play the same hand, each of you takes half of the other's attack.
Win or lose, both hands and both values are then revealed. Where did they load up? What is still left? Turn by turn, their allocation narrows down.
■ Each hand is played once
You start on 120 HP and the match runs five turns. Each hand is spent once, so five turns uses up all of them. The big hand you saved still has to come out. What you lead with and what you hold back is the whole contest.
The 200 attack you spend is more than the 120 HP you start with, so a match that lands can end before turn five.
■ Play people online
Sign in with your Apple ID or your Google account — no email to type, no password to set. Join the queue and you are matched with someone on the same rules. Sign in on a new device and your record follows you.
Your display name is shown to your opponent and to anyone watching, so keep your real name and contact details out of it. You can change it any time, and delete your account from the settings screen.
■ Finished matches stay open to everyone
Every finished match is kept as a record anyone can open: how much was on each hand, the order they came out, and what landed where. Study an opponent before you face them. Your own history is public the same way.
■ Watch matches in progress
Pick a match from the live list and watch it play out. Spectators only see turns that have already resolved; unplayed hands and both allocations are never sent.
■ Play the CPU, no connection needed
The CPU spends its points differently every match — spreading evenly, stacking one hand, or holding the heavy one until last. It never tells you which.
CPU matches are worked out on your device: airplane mode, underground, anywhere, with no sign-in and no account.
■ Change the rules
Starting HP, turns, total attack, the minimum per hand, time per turn, and what a draw does are adjustable. You can let hands be replayed, or reveal both allocations upfront.
■ Choose your card art
Two sets: Glass Village, a medieval village in stained glass, and Murasame, an aging swordsman under rain and lightning. Your opponent and any spectators see the one you pick.
■ Pricing
Everything here is free. On the free plan a banner sits at the top and a full-screen ad runs when you leave a finished match — never while you are choosing a hand.
The Standard plan removes the ads. Nothing else changes.

There is no chat. The only thing you send another player is a hand, and what you spent on it.
"Chifoumi" is the French word for rock-paper-scissors, said to come from the Japanese counting hi-fu-mi.
