Classically Amazing!
This game is really fun—and brings back a lot of nostalgia—but it’s a bit frustrating (on tv) that you cannot pause the game.
Also, when you quit playing the game and go back to it, you lose your progress, and the high scores are reset.
PLEASE fix these issues.

I’m loving this old skool twist on space invaders,it’s got a great soundtrack and the levels are tricky but doable - it is not easy,especially the further in you progress! Easy to play tho just left or right as firing is on auto. I nearly threw my phone up side the wall when I was shot down because I was interrupted for my dinner lol felt just like a little kid again some 4 decades down the road. Mental that the best games are still the old simple ones like this little gem,so please don’t change a thing! Its epic as it is…

Resetting Glitch
It’d be pretty cool if you’d fix this as it’s still a massive bummer to have all our progress wiped out.

It’s graphically gorgeous and the mechanics are actually terrific!
Congrats to the developers. You really have something special here. I don’t play it every day but every now and then I go back to it and I say to myself wow. They took an idea that was old and made it new again. Not only that but being that I live through the great age of quarter arcades I can honestly say that this game could easily have stood up against any of the classics from the era it seems to emulate. Very very impressed. The game is beautiful and it works really well so congrats again. You should feel very proud that you put together such an awesome retro shooter like this. If you had a Murch store I’d probably buy stuff from it. One last thing. I hope that you continue to improve the game and add to it as time goes on. Please don’t forget about this game it’s so cool. It Was A great game
This is a Great game to play when it works Right but I did the update and it crashes around level 1000 and throws you back to level One! Can you fix it or am I just going to Be forced to delete it and forget the Joy I’ve had playing it all this time?????

I play this space game during my travels or once I have absolutely nothing to do. Such a simple relaxing game, Chillaxian is 5 stars.

Screen Iphone X
Well...thanks for updating for newer phones, but play is the same. The ship is limited in horizontal movement, still held by the glowing red lines on right and left to old screen size. Yet..the aliens can move beyond the lines...but I can’t shoot them there. Because they can use the whole screen...but I cannot. Doesn’t make sense, let me move all the way left and right and use the entire screen. Nice try but really it’s just wallpaper at this point. Please fix! Thx!

Waste of money - absolute garbage
It's great (old review), problems (new review)
First, the new review... The new update doesn't allow me to get into the preferences or to pause the game. It crashes every time I try to do either. Perhaps it's because I'm using an iPad 3 with iOS 9.5.3, but it still needs to be fixed. By the way, this is coming from the player with the all-time high score. Beat me if you can ;-)
Now, my original review... I love it! Definitely a blast (pun intended) from the past. It's just hard enough to make it a terrific, retro example of the 80s/90s space genre. Rarely do you get caught in a corner like the old Galaxian game, which is nice. If you enjoy "old school," you most assuredly will like this app. Thumbs up, baby!

this is just a flat out good game. galaxian had quite a few handling issues. this doesn't. it's also more comprehensive in its effort to be a complete game. the debris fields, the hive levels. and the actual bosses fill this game out. i payed 2 bucks for it and it left me feeling like i owe someone money. just buy it.

This game is so fun and I love the retro graphics and gameplay. The dev did a great job with this game. He is also very responsive to feedback via Twitter. Definitely recommend this game.
Love it but there's a flaw
I would give it 5 STARS but there's a flaw. I've been playing it for a while now and absolutely love the throwback nostalgic arcade thrills. But I reached above level 5011 and it stopped recording my progress. The game returns me back to Level 5001. This seem to be its limit. Maybe I'm expecting too much? Anyways 5 stars up to level 5001 and zero stars after that level.
