Chillbox: SSH Server Monitor

Your server tells you what is wrong. Chillbox is the app that listens. It connects straight over SSH - no agent to install on the machine, no account, no cloud in the middle, no telemetry. Your credentials never leave your phone. WHAT IT WATCHES CPU, memory, disk, network and uptime, live, each on an instrument built for that reading rather than a generic card. Temperature and throttling when the machine has sensors. Load average, per-core usage, disk I/O. It refreshes in the background and raises alerts locally, on your phone, not through anyone's cloud. WHAT IT RECOGNIZES Pi-hole, AdGuard Home, Home Assistant, Plex, Jellyfin, Node-RED, Mosquitto, Zigbee2MQTT, OctoPrint, Portainer, Uptime Kuma, Frigate, Syncthing, Grafana, Transmission and Tailscale. It finds them on its own, tells you which are running and which are only pretending to, and knows the difference between a service you stopped and one that died. PROXMOX Virtual machines and LXC containers, start and stop from the phone. A machine set to start with the server but sitting off gets flagged. LXC containers open a terminal already inside them. And when a VM stops booting, SSH into it is dead by definition; the console still works, because it travels over an SSH channel of its own. No tunnel, no open port. ADMIN PANELS, NO TUNNEL RITUAL Chillbox knows what runs on each machine, so it builds the SSH tunnel itself and opens Pi-hole, Uptime Kuma, Portainer and eleven more inside the app. No local port, no remote host, nothing to type. The button only appears when the port is actually listening, even when the container claims to be up. ZFS POOLS Degraded pools, failed disks, pools running out of space, and fragmentation, the one reading df cannot give you. A machine without ZFS does not report zero healthy pools; it says the check does not apply. ONE VERDICT FOR THE FLEET A single line above the server list, and the servers grouped by what they need from you. A server that cannot be reached sits with the critical ones, never with the healthy. Up to four servers refresh in parallel, and opening one no longer disconnects the rest. DOCKER, SYSTEMD AND HOMEBREW Start, stop and restart containers and units from your phone. On a Mac it reads Homebrew services instead of systemd units, and asks launchctl whether each one is actually running rather than trusting what Homebrew declares. Read logs without opening a terminal, and open one when you want to. FILES AND KEYS Browse the machine's files over SFTP, read a config without opening a terminal, and manage your SSH keys in the app. NO SCORE The assessment screen refuses to give your server a score, because any single number that sums one critical and four warnings misorders some pair of them. Instead: nine categories, only the one that hurts lit up, findings ranked worst first, and the exact command for each. Checks that cannot run on your machine say so instead of quietly passing.
