love this app!
taking action for our planet is so easy and simple with chilli! Before, I felt hopeless and helpless because I couldn't do anything substantial. Now, I can actually act!
Culture shifting
I have finally found an app my 16 year old self would’ve dreamed to have. Civic action shouldn’t be difficult. It should be a collective right all people should have and our services should reflect that. Kudos to chilli for being a leader in this culture change.

Love the concept, AI GET OUT!!!
Love the concept of encoring others to reach out via email towards companies or organizations, but having ai script them is… questionable. Have an actual human on the team write a script that others can edit or personalize with some of their own thoughts and then send.
Good idea, poorly executed
The emails the app helped send all came back undeliverable — too bad because stopping climate change is worth fighting for however we can.
Why Ai?
This app would be so incredibly helpful, if it didn’t use ai to generate messages. I would rather have ‘cookie cutter’ messages than ai generated slop.
Brilliant
Great App. Makes it easy to help take action that make a difference for causes you care about, particularly environmental causes.
HOWEVER I have a few issues. The “contact us” and “report a bug” features do not work. When you click on either of them they don’t work, nothing happens! Also I was over half way to achieving my 100 days of action streak when my streak counter was suddenly reset to 1 day even though I have not missed a single day of taking daily actions. I was on about day 52. Now suddenly I am back to the start. REALLY NOT PLEASED. I want this corrected and my days given back. I am still taking daily actions to keep up my streak and not break it so technically I should still have all my days on the counter. Put this right please. Also due to the fact that your “contact us” feature doesn’t work I had to message you via Instagram but have had no response. So now I am putting these issues in this review as there’s no other way to get my message across!

If you care about climate change you WOULD NOT use this app!!!
This app claims to care about the environment but uses generative Al which takes up an enormous amount of water and causes irreparable damage to the environment inversely doing the opposite.
Use a different app to show you care! But please keep your peace and passion for saving our beautiful planet 🌎💚

Thought it was good…but not with the AI
I really liked the concept of this app, but for the emails they’re AI generated. To me it’s so backwards and hypocritical to do good with something terrible itself. Fighting for something good should come from each individuals own hearts, it’s human that way. The point of protesting is you yourself putting in the work to stand up for what you believe in. Not something doing it for you just so you can say you’re a good person. That isn’t real protesting, it’s just laziness. Get rid of the AI, have people actually research and care about what they are protesting, and actually protest by putting in the work.

Necessary and Easy
This app is simple, polished, and practical. It has potential for more that I hope it will reach, but even right now its purpose is being fulfilled by thousands of users. It feels good to do good every day and even better to have the option to get coupons and discount codes for ecofriendly products, just for doing tasks that are pretty much already done for you (eg, prewritten emails). Updates on new shop products and new donation campaigns are a little slow, but the team is always working on things and seems to be on top of the most necessary components of the app, like writing the messages that users send to people. I love apps like this and hope that more people will use them as the climate crisis continues to increase in urgency. The time to make change is now!

love this app! such a unique and important concept! unfortunately, I find that often the app won’t load even after several minutes. additionally, sometimes when I go to complete an action there’s a barrier (notifications turned off, etc) but no way to alert the Chili team of the issue. please fix because I love this app and its potential for change!

Buggy
Ever since the app update v3.2.1, I’ve not been able to complete any actions. The first bug I ran into was whenever I tap on the logo to give me an action, it goes into loading/finding mode, and then my screen goes completely to black. Next, the email actions templates would not fill out any email recipients. And finally, the logo goes into loading/finding mode just continues its animation without ever coming back with an action.
I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app to no avail. I’m on the most recent version of iOS, so I don’t know what to do. I just know I’m really bummed that my streak was killed by a bug.
