Awful app
The map tracker should be geared towards spectators. The mile markers would sometimes appear and it was hard to find what mile our runner was at. The map showed the water stations… I’m sorry but runner is watching the map while they run. It needs to be geared towards the spectators trying to find their specific runner.

2025 marathon
The app worked amazingly was able to track my runner the entire time
Distance is labeled as miles but it shows as km
When tracking runners on the graph tab, the units should as kilometers (42 km for marathon) but the label shows as distance (mi). Good to update.

Runners details map is poorly executed.
Runners details map is poorly executed. The x axis has the incorrect units and says miles when the graph is actually is tracking kilometers. Also why is the y axis decreasing? This is not helpful for the visualization and outside of convention. Who made this? Where was the QA?
Useless app
On race day still shows timer indicating the race is a day away. Can’t track racer - times out every time I put in their bib number.
What year is it?
This app looks like it was made in 2013. Is this really what TCS wants to show potential customers?

Love this app
Great app to track all the runners. Chicago marathon is the best, very well organized.
Sort of functional
The app’s tracking feature is decent, but not very trustworthy. Other than that, there aren’t really any things about it that make it deserve a good rating. There’s no way to switch to miles, it’s incredibly glitchy, and very outdated and not up to the standards it should be.
Embarrassing
They mixed up miles and kilometers and the pace graph is based on minutes having 100 seconds
Miles tracker
This app needs to track distance by miles in addition to kilometers. Lots of Americans run this race.
2024 version
No mile markers this year making it incredibly difficult to track runners. Disappointed in the quality

TERRIBLE APP
my husband and i are trying to get this downloaded and ready for his race 1.5 weeks away. every single time we log in, it gives us an error. how can i trust that this will track him correctly on race day?? boston marathon app was amazing compared to this.

The Chicago Marathon needs to get rid of this app!
The app is poorly designed and not very friendly. Most importantly it did not provide real time updates and alerts on runners. Chicago needs to use the same apps as other Marathons (like Marine Corps). I realize TCS is a sponsor, but this is a prime example of the poor quality you get from them.
Worthless app
Worst app I’ve ever downloaded. Not a single button on the entire app did anything. I got over 20 attempts with the same result: “cannot connect to server. Try again later. “
No tracking, no nothing. Couldn’t enter a bib number. I should’ve expected nothing less from anything associated with Chicago, the rectum of central USA.

Overseas user
Was able to get the information about course etc from app but all live data such as leaderboard and tracking was an error of ‘could not connect to server try again later’. Luckily family members sent text messages to keep me up to date.
