Could use more sounds for the Westminster chimes.
One problem
I like the ticking, I like the chimes. One problem: the display for the time goofs at 10:00. The 4 digits won’t fit across the screen. There’s a new line. I can figure out what time it is, of course, but it’s so annoying.
Does not seem to work.
Installed, waited to see what it would sound like. Never chimed.
Odd set up
The chimes as stated are recorded but as very poor sounding clock was used so the beauty of the chime is lost.
The really annoying part of this ap is the infernal ticking while the clock is displayed. I felt I was watching Peter Pan with crocodile who swallowed the alarm clock.
If I could turn that function off it would be a big improvement.

This is INCREDIBLE!
For anyone wondering how good this app is, let me tell you honestly. In short, it’s simple but VERY well designed! It only has one setting to deal with. ONE. And that’s the range of hours you want the chimes to sound during. If you don’t mind having the chimes on 24/7, just tap the button below the slider to jump right to the clock! Simple as that. No complex settings menus to dig through, and no paywalls, ads, micro transactions, or data collection. Despite the utter simplicity of this app, it does have quite a few useful features that are always enabled! These include volume control (which is simply your device volume setting), a fully black screen except for the digits (which makes this app EXTREMELY battery efficient), automatic burn-in protection (by moving the digits slightly each second), and a constant soft ticking sound plus quarterly Westminster chimes and hour striking—all of which were recorded from a real mechanical clock! It even includes the clicking of the mechanism as the chimes start to play, for extra realism! All in all, it’s a simple, elegant clock app that will bring charm and life to any room! Highly recommend—especially since it’s FREE!!!
