About
Numbers flash on a grid. Tap the first one and the rest go blank — now tap them all back, in order.
This is the famous working-memory task in which chimpanzees embarrass humans. The lab chimps handle nine items. See where you stall.
FOUR WAYS TO PLAY
• Classic — start at four numbers, +1 every clear, three strikes and you're out.
• Levels — a 60-level ladder with three-star ratings. Early rungs are a warm welcome; from level 21 the numbers hide on a timer, and from 41 the tiles SLIDE to new positions after masking. Level 60 is genuinely elite.
• Daily — eight boards, identical worldwide, one attempt per day.
• Reverse & Zen — tap descending, or practice without strikes (Pro).
EARN AS YOU CLIMB
• Nine goals with live progress — including the Chimp Benchmark: hold nine numbers, the same as a lab chimpanzee.
• Six badges, one every ten levels — from First Ten to Chimp Class.
• Clear level 20 to recolour the whole game.
• Clear level 30 to put your own photo on the tiles.
MADE WITH ACTUAL CARE
• Big, thumb-friendly tiles. Instant input, satisfying haptics.
• Global leaderboards via Game Center: best board, highest level, daily.
• Plays offline. No accounts, ever.
• Occasional ads between runs — Chimp Recall Pro removes them for good.

Nine numbers. A chimp can do it. Can you?

What's New in Chimp Recall
1.1
August 26, 2026
Badges. Six of them, one every ten levels - because climbing the ladder should give you something back. Nine goals to chase, each with a progress bar, including the Chimp Benchmark itself: hold nine numbers, the same as a lab chimpanzee. The home screen always shows the one you're closest to. Clear level 20 and the whole game recolours to whatever you pick. Clear level 30 and your own photo becomes the face of every tile. Share a run and you now send a proper card, not just text - and a shared Daily is a real challenge, since everyone gets the same board on the same day. Also fixed: "Next level" replayed the level you'd just finished, and ads could fail to appear at all on a fresh launch.
