Brilliant app. Stupid Apple iPhone
This is a brilliant app which worked perfectly till today's iPhone update arrived. You vandals Apple! This was a treasury of background info about Chinese characters

Great idea for an app, but it crashes every time you return to the main menu after having searched something.
The design is also much worse than the original version pictured on Richard's chineseetymology website, ie. the user now has to make multiple separate searches to see all the information about a character (oracle bone, seal, bronze, etc.), rather than receiving all the information at once.

Great database and sources... But app crashes :(
The work behind this tool is phenomenal, but unfortunately the app crashes every time after searching 1 character when trying to go back to the home screen to search for another.
Please fix this otherwise great tool!

Promising but crashes too often
The idea is fantastic, but if I input a character, select one option, go back and select another option, it consistently crashes...:(
