User reviews

Do not download

They get your email and then tell you it won’t work without paying them. It’s probably an email gathering scam

Doesn’t Work

What a ripoff. The app is useless and the free trial isn’t even free. Charged $2.99 immediately. Cancelled….

Response from developer

Hello, we are so sorry for the inconvenience and actively working to fix the free-trial issue with our system provider. As for the identification issue we would love to learn more about the context of what you were trying to ID so we can further train our machine learning models in new environments/locations. Again, we are terribly sorry! For further information you can contact the founder directly at ethan@thechirpieapp.com. Thank you so much for raising the concern - this helps us improve the product/serve future customers.

Great for animal and insect ID

This app is great for quickly identifying animals and insects. Not only will it keep you safe it will teach you about the ones you see so a great learning tool too.

Must have app for outdoor activities

I work exclusively outside and encounter wildlife daily. Chirpie has given me a wonderful and simple way to identify animals throughout Colorado. The app is constantly receiving updates and widening its animal detection capabilities. I highly recommend everyone give this unique app a try.

Like a Park Ranger in My Pocket! -so cool

Even as an experienced outdoors guy this app continues to amaze me with its simplicity and knowledge. Honestly I sometimes tell my partner I knew what a critter was but it was really Chirpie lol.

Completely worth the small fee every month.
