Chivy is intentionally designed a bit differently from traditional dating apps, which I realize we did not explain clearly enough in the product. We focused first on safety, high-intent connections, and IRL events, and some familiar “instant gratification” features like seeing everyone who liked you did not make it into the first version. You’re absolutely right that clarity around likes, messages, and what to do after you swipe is critical. We’re actively improving: Clearer notifications and inbox for new likes and messages A more intuitive way to see and respond to people who liked you Better guidance after you match so you know exactly how to move things forward I’m sorry the product felt confusing and incomplete to you, and that’s on us for not communicating our approach better.
