My go to when I want Chocolate
It’s important to me that my food ethics reflect my personal ethics and If I don’t support labour exploitation and slavery then why would I be ok choosing chocolate that is farmed using those inhumane methods against Black children. This app makes ethical chocolate consumption easy and avoiding the baddies simple.

I love that this app can help me decide whether to buy a product I probably don't need in the first place based on whether the chocolate is sourced ethically. If it's produced with slave labor, then nope! Don't need it! But I'm happy to see a lot of my favorites listed as approved and now I know which brands to avoid. Thanks, Food Empowerment Project!

A Must-Own App
We can't see beyond the fancy labels of a chocolate bar from a store aisle. I trust FEP's research and this app puts it in my hand. Super convenient! Super essential!

Beyond being a solid social justice org, they make a great app. This makes it easy to search for ethical companies, and not-so ethical companies, when making decisions about what chocolate to buy. This app is such a wonderful resource! It can be overwhelming trying to choose a product that meets ethical standards, but now I can just easily search and find my answer!
There is definitely some room to grow for this app but I hope as more people use it and FEP receives more funding it will continue to improve!

Excellent resource
This app makes it easy to find out which vegan chocolate is also ethically sourced. It is being updated regularly as of 2016, so the info should be current.

UPDATE: The app has improved with the new update and is easier to search, which is great because the list grows every month! I'm discovering so many new companies working to make ethical chocolates!
