Worth It
It’s short, funny, and full of good writing. There’s a certain style of the writer where he’s able to get you attached to these characters in so little time. I was genuinely proud of Ptolemy IV turning out a great leader, and Gold definitely has an affinity for stories about mentorship, parental figures, etc. Well done!

FUN GAME
Really fun beautifully written
Blew me away
This is a really intelligent and moving story, and it’s exciting while also thought provoking. It makes you realize your life matters and that you should make good choices.
I’m really impressed and definitely glad I bought this. It was well worth.

Great historical intrigue and adventure
Highly enjoyable interactive story set in the ancient city of Alexandria. Well-written with interesting characters and plenty of intrigue. It's not very long, but will likely encourage you to re-read it again immediately just to find out what you missed first time.
Not worth 3 bucks
Even though I seemed to have achieved the best possible outcome I found the story to be extremely short. I just love these “make your own adventure” stories but this one lacked in content. It was a good story not great and definitely not worth 3 dollars. Especially if I can finish the story in less than 4 hours.

Fun!
As mentioned before, it may seem a bit short and there wasn’t enough depth about my relationship with Ptolemy IV. Indeed my competition with the other tutor should have been more challenging. Nevertheless, the story was refreshing and fun and I enjoyed reading it thoroughly. Definitely recommended!
Top end choice and consequence.
In addition to being well written with compelling characters, CoA tacks hard towards showing the impacts; short and long term; of the protagonists choices. I love it!
Choice of Games repeatedly impresses
Another great text-based adventure.
Not Free as Advertised
Didn't even bother reading the first chapter. I'm highly disappointed that the game is advertised on the App Store as free, with no indication as to having to pay for more than the first chapter. If this was stated where it could clearly be seen without having to download, then I wouldn't have an issue with it. As far as I'm concerned Choice of Games is baiting downloads to boost the game's supposed popularity. Not cool.

Humorous, High-Minded, and Humble
Kevin Gold might not be at his best (compare to Choice of Robots), but if you enjoy culturally captivating story-telling with a reserved retelling of history, buy this.
A chance to live in Alexandria
I love the choice games for letting me play as my gender. This one lives an entire life in a fascinating city. What will you do with your life?
Really fun game
I really like this game it was really fun to play.I rea
Not bad, but not Choice of Robots
While the story is quite interesting in a way, it is short and slightly lacking in depth. I don't know if I would buy it again knowing what I know now.
Then again, I am comparing this to Choice of Robots, which is probably always going to be the best of these games. I just don't think that this one has the same depth or detail, but knowing what Kevin Gold is capable of I would love another one on the same level as Robots, and if that means we have to wait longer it will be a fair price to pay.

History in the present tense
A fun way to learn history by living it. The story gives you many choices, sometimes all good, all bad, or mixed. There is no way to foresee the outcome until the end. Each replay gives you a chance to explore another path. The authors of these games demonstrate that imagination and a good story make an unbeatable combination.

Not impressed
The game was very short. And the choices didn't mentally draw you into the game. You don't give a damn about the kid your tutoring. The rivalry is very weak and if you decide to kill the kid when he becomes king it just briefly goes over what happened. The story telling could have been more in depth but the whole story felt very shallow. Choice of robots was a lot better in this aspect.

Very creative
This game is really cool, with creative and branching paths. Totally worth it.
Extremely Enjoyable!
This game was one heck of a lot of fun. Knowing (all of) the history that runs like a thread through the story, I played it very pedantically and wondered about what replay value this would have. When I replayed the first time, I was tremendously thrilled to see very high replay and couldn't put it down until I got all of the possible endings and achievements. This is well worth the cost of the game!

Short Sadly
The writing is pretty well done, but the word count is meager and depressingly uninteractive. Only a small amount of choices really feel like they go anywhere and I'm overall disappointed. As a story by itself it's alright, but the choices are limited, the event chains are almost nonexistent and the limited romance choices annoy me. Especially since they're both characters you have to throw away all your other plans in order to romance.

Mr.
I really loved this game! I really can't weight until the next game is available!! I am pumped that I was able to learn about Choice Of Games!!! 🤗. I love you guys!!!!!😘.
Nope
I don't care at all for this business model. It's not free to play, as 'get' button indicates on the App Store. There's not enough replay ability to be charging $2.99. And I refuse to play a game with ads. I want to pay once and play, no freemium games for me, ever. I wouldn't mind spending maybe 99 cents, but not $2.99. Overcharging on the App Store has cost them (Apple) a whole family of customers, as this game sent me over the edge. I won't be using it for games any longer, nor will my family.
