The fee times you get to really make choices seem to fly by then the game is over. All in all it would be nicer to really grow through ranks.
Not smart enough to allow adjustable font sizes but your generation is that snart.
Excellent text based adventure. Easy to play without looking like a game.
Good but short
i died of thirst
This was like living inside a Hornblower book. Immensely fun and well written, so I hope there's a sequel.
Still fun :)
I need a pt.2 or a game just like it !!!
Great storyline with loads of atmosphere. Keeps you thinking and worrying if that last decision is going to be the last you ever make!
Thoroughly enjoyed, sad I didn’t have more!
The experience of playing this game was pretty exciting. Though it was too short, I was expecting a choice to become a pirate through mutiny. Nonetheless, it is a fine game that deserves this good review. Though it could use some more story and more career choices for ya guy, it was really entertaining for me, so not necessarily THE greatest choose-your-own adventure game, but pretty cool and superiorly unique over some of the others I’ve played from this company. Semper Fi brothers.

One nation is obviously England. The other is obviously France. Why not just use those two names? Why use the names Albion and Gaul? Those odd and outdated names ruin the experience.
This game was well written and amazingly fun. Regretted killing that frenchman or “Gaul” man in the end. Perhaps thats a sign of how outstandingly well written this was.
Clearly has done their research adding much to it. I like all the different traits and how they actually affect your choices. My only complaint is that it’s far too short I want more.
A lot of love and heart went in to this game, as well as the game of choice series in general. Perfect for when you want to get lost in another world
As a fan of the Aubrey / Maturin books (on which this game is clearly based) I was looking forward to this. It’s well written, the choices genuinely make you think and I like the characters. But it is soooo short. Not long after promotion, I’ve defeated the Lynx thinking there was much more to come, but that was is it! £4.49 to remove the adds is way too much for a game of this length. If I had known how short the game was I would not have purchased.

Love this game so much! Definitely recommend playing I have played it many times now and still love it and ik ow I’m a bit late but will there be any more content coming out?
After the first page the advert blocks the button to advance any further.. A cheap trick.
I have read and completed this story more times than I can count, I can’t find anything like it. I truly love broadsides.
This game is pretty good, but when I try to restore . This is a major bug which needs to be fixed urgently.my purchase, it closes and keeps doing so every time I try to play it.
