Weak

I agree with Unidraconus' review that this one's more for kiddies. I don't think much research went into this either as far as Japanese culture or how ninjas were trained or operated. A regional ninja academy? Really? Complete with Hogwarts-like instructors for different subjects? Seemed like the author was just adapting his/her American suburbian experience to a "ninja school". Maybe I'm wrong but that doesn't sound historically accurate to me. Anyway, story is predictable and the fight scenes are disappointing and few and far between. Overall, very generic with ninja overlay.

Too short

I must agree with many, your choices do not have much impact on the game, The story is short and definitely not worth three dollars. However it's not a bad story, the worst part of it is it ends on a cliffhanger.

Disappointing.

This was not what I hoped it would be. I wanted darker writing with more stealth, action, suspense and kick-buttery.
What I got was a kids novel fit for ages 8-12.
Even then the characters were shallow, choices not very ninja, story not very thrilling, fighting not very entertaining. Over all unless your a kiddo that hasn't read much this is hardly worth the time unless you just want to say you read a ninja story.
I played one time then lost interest. In my younger days when choice books were the rage this would have been published in limited print...

Great game!!, but...

Love this choice game but can you make a choice game on an academy life story, like a high school life game. That also includes love and action, lol sorry if this too much. :p

okay

the story is decent but it ends too soon and on a super abrupt note, though i haven't played too many times, so there might be more to it. it does have good flavor options though and it also seems like the game might be getting updates in the future?

Disapointed again

I found that most of the time I was reasonably bored with it but when I finally was getting mild interest in the game it abruptly ended. Too much money for too little content and too short of a story. If a second game of this is realeased I am not buying it. I'm only giving an extra star because I feel pity. Also, side note, I was a fan for choice games for many years and am severely disapointed in how poor the games have been these past few years.

Too quick :(

I finished it in minutes and I can't help but find it to end too quickly. I also got different endings when I retried but it was too short for me. Over all, it was interesting but I was also hoping to get more route from the romance section. That was a disappointment.

Good

Good game u should continue to update it

Amazing!

One word. Amazing! Amazing story, character development and thought provoking choices. Definitely worth it and I look forward to the next one! I will definitely get it

Getting better

This game has gotten a lot better keep up the great work! -resguy500

Huge improvement

I played this game when it was first released and was frankly unimpressed. Thankfully, after the update the content in this game has improved to the point that it is worthy of the CoG title. All new (and vastly improved) endings, revamped missions, and an excellent romance plot have been added. It is a little sad most people wont even stop back to see how much better this game has become.

Loved it!

Great improvement!

I enjoyed the first version of Ninja, but the updated version greatly expands the original story and makes it a more in-depth game. I was disappointed that there were no new missions following the ending, just more detailed versions of the old ones, though the expansions for those missions are fun and intriguing. Honestly, it feels like this version should have been the original, but now that the foundation has been properly laid, I, along with all the other Ninja fans, eagerly await new missions and adventures! Especially can't wait to see what happens with the main character's love interest!

Still awesome

Great game overall, and nice job referencing Bleach when I tried to name my guy Ichigo, but you let Itachi slip through, so HA! Got around it!

Cool

I love the game, it's totally cool. But every time I try to restart the game it won't restart. I just get stuck at the ending.

AMAZING! SO WELL WRITTEN

but it is too short. Like so short it's inexcusable. I noticed that people complain that CoG are too short often. An easy fix would be to apply some kind of minimum pages for a game. People want stuff as long as Exodus, so CoG should set a rule where games need to be around as long as a single Exodus chapter.

SHORT! UNFINISHED, WASTE OF TIME!

How disappointing!! Very short, and the story was left hanging! Not even close to being worth $2.99!! The field of romance, which most if not all choice of games touch, was not explored AT ALL!! This game is a HUGE disappointment! ๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿ‘Ž

It's ok

The writing and feel isn't bad, but the story is far too short. I expected that the book was only half through when I read "the end"

Good game but how bout samuri?

I loved the game, but since they already
did a choice of the ninja and kung fu
why not a choice of samuri?

Terrible game

This game isn't worth two cents in thought, action and definitely is without a point of interest. Pretty much a total rip off. Buyer beware because you aren't getting anything for your hard earned money.
