Horrible delivery app - use any other one
They took 1 1/2 hours to deliver my food and had rude, slow customer service over the phone. There are too many good delivery apps to suffer with this one. Run away.
Garbage Service
This company has garbage service. Wanted to use them because they are locally owned, but they continue to disappoint. Food is always late and cold. Even have had calls from the owner guaranteeing our order to be warm and it wasnt. AVOID!
Cart constantly reloads
I can’t place my order because the cart reloads over and over. Got sent some coupon codes today but I can’t even enter them.
First Time User
It was my first time using Chop Chop and I had a great experience! It came earlier than expected and the driver had great communication. Would highly recommend!
New updates and all local? Love it
With the new updates and look to the app it really does it make it easier to navigate and use. Plus the emphasis on doing local Richmond small business, especially during these pandemic times have been awesome. Great app!
Great service, fix your app
I cannot sign in or use the app at all. I go to the login screen and enter my info, it just sits there after a spinner flash. Only other option is “skip”, which lets me preview restaurants, great but I can not order because there’s no credit card on file because I’m not actually able to sign in.
ALSO: the maximum of 8 character passwords is a joke. 64-256 is a reasonable range of max-lengths.

Terrible customer service and charges
Every other service that does this can be used more efficiently and doesn’t add extra charges that you can’t be refunded. The customer service is maddeningly unhelpful when you try to contact them for support. Stay away from this app and use much better and other established services. This company is very ill-equipped to do customer service based work.

Kinda can’t order when your cart no longer works
I downloaded the update and attempted to order some takeout on your app yesterday. But every time I went to the cart, a spinner popped up repeatedly, blocking me from completing the order. I tried all the normal troubleshooting methods...I even risked placing multiple orders by attempting to click the Submit button repeatedly, hoping I’d catch it during a millisecond when the spinner disappeared. Finally I just called the restaurant and placed the order manually. This morning I clicked repeatedly until I could finally get the cart to clear. Can’t use your business if I can’t actually complete my order!

Great delivery service! Estimated times are always longer than how long it actually takes to get the food. And I love supporting local!
Doesn’t work
I wasted 30 min trying to place an order. So many bugs along the way. Ultimately didn’t work and had to use door dash

Awesome
Great customer service by chop chop rva. Placed the incorrect order the first time. I couldn’t figure out how to cancel and re-order. They called immediately and helped me update. Extremely helpful! Never heard of this app until tonight and will definitely use again.
LOVE
I’m a big fan of this app/ company. Have only had one issue with an order and it wasn’t to the fault of Chop Chop but they fixed it and were timely and professional. Love supporting local restaurants/ businesses and staying away from the apps that take more away from restaurants. Will always choose Chop Chop RVA

Can’t use
Before I created my profile, I could find my address (mind you, I live five blocks from carytown, near the paddle bot lake, so not stretching them), then neither my home nor work (right by the children’s hospital) addresses show up. It’s pretty impressive.
Awful app
Awful app, confusing and clunky. Better off calling the restaurant straight. Made me think I was ordering delivery when it was pick up. I would give no star.

This app is awful. The only thing worse is the customer service.
Just use Ubereats
Poor UI making it almost impossible to place an order. Tried and kept giving me errors and losing the information I had just filled out. Then it told me it wasn’t my first time when I just downloaded the app and at that point I had it. Deleted the app and will never be downloading again DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY

Issue with my order, no way to report
Ordered food. There was an item missing. No option to report the issue on the app. A joke of an app. Stay away.
Terrible
I used this app to order a pick up from a local restaurant and never received any sort of confirmation email, pick up time, etc and there is no customer support. I showed up to pick up my order and they had not received it (30 minutes later).
I decided to respond to the emailed receipt and got a response back “sent from my iPhone.”
This app is sketchy and I do not recommend it.
