Simple & Straighforward
The app is clean and gives you simple customizable playlists for your exercises. However, it would be great to see Apple Watch & Apple Health integration.
Great, Simple App…Crashes
Simple app to use with some great exercises to get into the “swing” of things. It’s a bit buggy and often crashes halfway through a workout, especially when connected to Bluetooth headphones or listening to music. Easy enough to get it started again, but interrupts workout and resets workout timer.
Love the product…app needs some work
I’ve only had my ChopFit for a month, but I love the product. Great, convenient, creative workouts. That said, the app could use some work. The primary problem, twice now it’s frozen at the end of a workout and then crashed. The video goes to a a gray screen at the last exercise, can’t restore, when I click finish, it crashes. Aside from that, minor things like the reminders can only be set at fixed times, 9 AM and 9 PM. I leave for work at 5 AM, 9 AM is a useless reminder because I’ll be at work for hours yet, and 9 PM is too late for me to be starting a workout.
So, excellent product, but the app needs bug fixes and general improvement.

Great App, One Small Suggestion!
I have been using ChopFit and their app for quite a while and it’s been very beneficial for me in my job as a firefighter. One benefit that I hadn’t considered was improving my tool dexterity with both hands. Being right handed I typically swung hand tools at work a certain way, however this is not always the case. So I’ve really noticed a greater comfort level on my non dominant side as a result, so thank you!
One small suggestion that I have for the app. In one of the recent updates, when the workouts are in progress and it is showing the how to do the exercises…whatever audio I might be playing in the background (podcast, etc) becomes muted because the iPhone thinks a video is playing. This is more of a nuisance than anything but it can be noticeable when the workout ends and my Bluetooth speaker blows out. If you could look into that, I’d appreciate it. In any regard, thanks for making such a great product and app!

great
1 hour a day flexibility improved drastically 60 years training swear it’s great
The app has gotten worse - please fix
I got into ChopFit around mid 2020. Back then the app was working fine and the UX was simpler. Now the video demonstrations in the Workouts section don’t play properly - very jittery, so you can barely follow the exercises. Please fix this!!!
The Next Great Piece of Equipment
ChopFit is an amazing piece of equipment. Don’t let the weight fool you, it will whoop your butt and is some of the most fun workouts I’ve ever done. You can get very creative with the choppers and it is my new favorite tool for workouts. Very easy to travel with.
Nice mix to my normal workout
I think this is a really clever idea and I like it. I wish I would’ve add a few more workouts but I like what they have.
What about Apple Watch integration
Very nice app. What’s missing is customization.
1. The ability to save various types of chopfit exercises rather it be with one axe or two axes into your very own workout routines favorites.
2. How about Apple Watch integration ? This app screams to have the routine displayed their as you work out, along with heart rate monitoring, time, and calorie burns. And also the ability to post it somewhere for bragging rights !
Comon guys let’s get all in !

Extreme fun
I bought it thinking I will enjoy the natural axe movements. It turned out to a right decision. I have finished three sessions and enjoy every bit. The natural chopping movements let me exercise all body parts. I feel more burnt out with the upper and core region, but do get some leg exercises from the movements that combine jumping and chopping. I do have bunch of other traditional tools like kettlebell, dumbbells, weight bar, elliptical etc, and this is probably the most versatile and most fun.
I got the pro one weighing 7 lb. I was concerned if it will be too light. But it feels heavier as they advertise. I do not know if it feels 32 lb, but definitely much more than its weight. I do change my hand position to make it more or less challenging.
Overall - super gift from me to me.

Chop Fit
The training program(s)need to be upgraded.
Once you have finished on set the app should move onto the next set . You need to tap next to move one . Ruins the flow .

Good app easy to use and motivate , good workout too
Can’t explain it, but this is actually pretty fun. :)
The only thing missing (which I’m sure is in progress) is Apple Health integration.
Great guided workout
I love the guided workout. Only a couple days into the tracking system. Will advise if it changes my assessment.
I would love it even more if it worked on Apple TV as well. *HINT*

Much to be desired
Firstly, the ChopFit itself is awesome. However the app leaves so much to be desired. The user journey is horrendous, it is very confusing to use with no clear direction. It looks like the app was just an afterthought to try and sell the axe itself, which is too bad.
Maybe put as much effort into the app as you put into your marketing?
Either way, my thighs are sore. Going to keep using the axe but mostly without the app.

❤️ the Chopper!
Great app, creative workouts that get both a full body cardio workout and specific muscle groups.
Fun, challenging but room for improvement.
I’ve had my chopper for 2 weeks now, and have completed 7 workouts. On paper they all seem simple and like you could easily complete them, but even on the lowest amount of reps it pushes your limits.
I love being able to do quick workouts in my garage and am excited to see the results after sticking with it for a few months.
That said, the app could use some improvements. If I set up Spotify to play and then start a workout, it will shut off your music. You can restart, but you run the risk of the app freezing and not tracking your workout.
It’d also be great to see the different workouts done in a class type setting so you can see the form a little more clearly.
That said, I really recommend the app and can’t wait to see how this benefits me on my fitness journey.

Response from developer
Thanks so much for the review and helpful feedback! We are aware of the issue with music/audio from other apps not restarting after a workout begins, and will be fixing that in an upcoming release. The feedback on seeing the workouts in a different setting is also super helpful! We hope to have new content in the future that we can look to make improvements here. Thanks for being a customer and for your time! #nicechop
Quick and Effective!
I have a busy schedule and normally have a tough time fitting in workouts. I love that I can do this at home in less than 20 min and still feel sore afterward! The workouts are also super easy to follow. Excited to see the results!
Effective but fast!
This is so easy. I hope I get in shape - will let you know!
