Way better than just a metronome
I was looking for a metronome app and stumbled on Chops. It’s been immensely helpful in making it a no brainer to pick up the practice pad. I love using the course modules so I don’t even have to think about what rudiments to go through if I don’t want to. I practice way more because of this. The developer has also been super responsive to feedback.

Nice clean app but…
I really want to use this app more but I just can’t clearly see the active notes, the pastel blue on white background is really faint.

Thanks for your feedback! In the latest version of Chops we've added several new highlighting options, including a new default style that draws a box around the active note. You can choose from 5 styles in the 'Notation Highlighting' settings. Hope that helps! If you have more feedback feel free to email us through the 'About' section of the app.
