Great

Recently started working again for me, not sure why it didn’t work for me for a while. One of my favorite apps of all time, super simple way to write music.

Response from developer

Thank you for your review and problem report. I will check defects and fix any issues. I’m sorry for slow response. Unfortunately no sounds issue was not found in my environment. Therefore I couldn’t update.

Useless

No audio output. I sequence my chords a press play but no sound comes out. Useless!

Great, but no longer makes sound for me - Still an issue

I used to use this app all the time. It’s the best way to get simple ideas written down. However, a while ago the app stopped making sound for me entirely. Playing a song will show the keyboard playing the chords, but no sound comes out.

Note: this review was original replied to in January, I am writing this review in may to update the score from 4 stars to 1 star to hopefully get a response from the developer. Thank you

very useful, but really needs slash chord support

i have a zillion songwriting apps, but i like this one for its simplicity, which makes it fast to sketch progression ideas. however, it lacks support for slash chords, eg., Am/G, which denotes the bass note to play with the chord (i.e.l “Play chord Am and note G in the bass”), which is very limiting. Please add slash chords!
