Guitar sounds are actually piano. Otherwise OK but for Ā£8 needs a lot more polish.
Too expensive for too little content
I have really enjoyed the pitch trainer app. Although expensive I have found it useful. But to build this app around 4 triads and charge a premium price for it is unacceptable and very disappointing. I would expect a full range of chords up to altered 13ths for this price.
Great but could be better
I really like this app and recommend it. If you make a mistake you have the option to hear your choice and the original one. Unfortunately both are not at the original pitch. But things are different when you are an octave away. For example I have a bias towards thinking higher pitches being minor and lower ones being diminished. So when I make a mistake I would like to hear it at the same pitch as before

Good app but would benefit with some tweaks
1) Volume is too low! I have the pitch training app and it's much louder than this. Why?
2) Only four triad types. Major, minor, dim, aug
Though these are the most common I'd love to see the addition of a couple of others. In my world Sus2 and Sus4 triads are very common. Would love these to be added. Or better yet see #3
3) Allow for creation of custom triads. This way I can create my own triads that are missing from this.
All in all a useful app. The volume issue is a BIG one however.

Basically the free version plays minor and major chords. That is it, I was sure at times the app isn't playing me the same chord as I was tested on.

I thought by purchasing this app I would have access to a variety of chords like 7th and diminished, etc., It's no the case. also trying to customize this program is a super pain. I wasted my money, Apple does not have a refund policy and the company just refers you to Apple. There is nothing Pro about his app!

It works, but is it fair value?
It works and does what it says it will do. But the price seems very steep when there is not a lot of content here and you'll soon need to purchase more similarly expensive apps to continue your training. It would be more worthwhile if the apps by this company were bundled together and offered at a reasonable price. As it is it seems a bit greedy.

Great app, responsive service
Ear training takes a lot of practice but this app has streamlined the process quite a bit for me. Pro version lets me pick and choose whichever chord forms (and inversions) I want and drill and compare endlessly. I had some issues installing on my prior phone and the developer was very responsive. App works perfectly on my new 5s. It currently plays piano sounds but would love if it also offered guitar.

All of the Easy Ear Training apps should be on the required list for musicians. This one is no exception.

Definitely worth buying. After only a few weeks I can hear progress in my ear training.

This app has multiple features that will help you become a better musician. It's training mode has very definitive and understandable information, and it's testing mode allows you to see your own improvement, with difficulty levels ranging from beginner to very advanced.

I have been using this app a lot and it has really helped my musicianship. It's amazing how clearly you can hear music with a little training! I can't recommend it enough.
If I were being picky, the quality of the sounds could be improved and the general design could be updated to look like other iPhone apps. It's definitely worth the money though!

A little bit buggy, not shading its excellence

Convenient for me to practice chord inversions on the run on iPhone. Very good flexibility in setting up which chords & inversions, number of repeats, broken chord on or off etc. Very nice adjunct to aural training for music students.
