Cool app
I’m really enjoying this app
Chordpadx
This is absolutely an amazing app
For any singer who wants to concentrate on his voice performance focusing on singing rather than forming chords is a blessing.
The app allows to assign all the chords you need including inversion positions

Pad not working when pressed
Everything seems to work but when I press the pads nothing happens. I’ve messed with the settings, nothing seems to work

This could be a killer app with some enhancements
The ability to explode chords
meaning the explode the notes of any chord onto the 16 pads
Enabling the user to perform bass lines or Melodie’s form the notes contained in the chord
Add ability for strum chords
since the app is AUV3 it does not necessarily need to record midi within the app but it would be nice if you could write your entire song with in the app as it currently stands. The app can be used to generate midi on a track within a DAW.
I could use one instance to crate the chord progression move the midi to my desired piano app
If I could explode the 4 chords into
4 smaller boxes contain 16 squares and work out bass and melody
This concept would better be applied to the standalone app as AUV3 does provided limited space

Response from developer
There are some good ideas in there. Thank you for your feedback! :)
Is it weird that this app changed my life?
Please be around forever.
Love this
I love this app! My only problem is switching between flat and sharp on those chord titles
On an adventure
I think reviews are requested to soon
This app is more complex than my skill level
I am hoping it will do everything I would like it to do but I don’t know yet
There are things I need to learn before I will be able to know this
I have great hope that it will be a 5 star app
Maybe the 3 star rating that I gave is really for me

No Velocity Response Without 3D Touch
Misleading. Wasted my upgrade purchase. I’m not using an old iphone.
Response from developer
Of course 3D Touch features will work only on phones that support 3D Touch. That is iPhone 6S, iPhone 6S Plus, iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone X, iPhone XS, and iPhone XS Max.
Nice app! Includes features I haven’t found in other apps
First off, thank you to the developer who quickly helped me troubleshoot and resolve an issue I was having when trying to use the app. I was not expecting such a quick response to my support inquiry or for a resolution to be offered during our first exchange.
The app is well designed and I like the included features. It works well with my custom built arduino midi controller and allows me to do things I haven’t found in other apps.

Excellent
If I had one wish it would be to be able to audition the inversions and chords on pads while in the edit mode...
Great chord app
Being a guitar player this is great app, always struggled with keyboard chords. Haven’t had much time with the app but I know it will be used frequently on projects. Great app. rayloop.
It’s very good.
I downloaded the demo version of this quite a while ago but I didn’t give it much of a try. I’ve gone back to it and was so impressed I paid for the full version. My only criticism is that I don’t think it’s possible to rename any customised pad settings. For example I created a 1 4 5 Dorian pad with the chord progression over 2 octaves and 1 inversion and single keys in that scale also over 2 octaves. I would like to label that as Dorian D but there’s no way of doing it. The setup saves but it’s just an unnamed pad among any others I create.
I just want to add something to my original review. I’ve since tried this out as a midi controller with Reason 10 on my PC, and it works really well. Using an iPad as a controller with a PC takes a bit of setting up, but I managed it with the camera connection kit, a USB cable to a hub and an external audio input with midi in out. I’ve got an iRig Pro connected by midi and audio to a Zoom UAC-2. If you can do that give it a try, it makes playing chords into desktop daws a doddle for those of us who aren’t proficient at playing keyboards.

Love it!
Love it! I like these sorts of apps, and I’m looking for one that sticks with me. This one had me writing this review in seconds. I had only just discovered how to used it. And then I had to say, thank you. I’m gonna start using this an see what happens! Thanks again!
Another superb app from this developer!
This complements ‘Suggester’ perfectly - and I would recommend both to any aspiring songwriter! This one allows you to put in up to 64 chord and/or single note pads on one screen - including different inversions of chords. It’s great for trying out different combinations that I’d never find with my limited piano skills!

Limited
After using Suggester, which is loaded with all the chords variations, this app is very limited. No arpeggiator, can’t hear the metro beat, just visual, ....
Response from developer
It is indeed a different app than Suggester, with different goals, different features... and a lower price point too.
Best app I’ve ever used - it’s perfect
Without a doubt the best, most useful, feature packed, well thought out app for pads and / or chords I’ve ever used.
I’ve tried so many other apps and this app is better than all of them.
Perfect for either just on my iPad to get some chord ideas and also to link up to ableton and use the pads when making music.
Love it !1

Could be great
Unless I’m missing something seems I can’t save pad sets and also creating pad sets is extremely inefficient
Otherwise this would be a really useful app in AUM

Not working?
Followed the tutorial up to where it says tap ‘create’ and it just takes me back to the recents screen and says ‘No recents’. Had already updated to iOS 13 earlier in the day...could it be related to that?
Response from developer
Please use the new version 3.4, which addresses issues with iOS 13.
Love the app only one thing missing
I love this app, its so usefull..... for music creating... i only wish they added one feature to make it complete...
The ability to export out a midi a sequence or a pad..... just like suggester exports out a midi sequence..
Its just much easier for me to import a midi sequence from korg gadyet without having to play it and record it in the right time.
And the ability to copy more than one chord at a time, so what can recreate a new pad with the selected chords from another pad.
(This way, i will export the sequence chords i really need).
Thank you

Intuitive, fun and useful
Among controller apps, this is a gem. Intuitive, easy to play and useful for making music with a human feel. The addition of a Scale Note template for Padsets, is very useful. In future the possible addition of a step sequencer module as an IAP would be very welcome.
